    AIP Platform

Good article, but one question. The authors say that Mark Chryson became chairman of the AIP in 1997. Subsequently, according to the article, he "scrubbed the old platform of what Chryson called 'racist language.'" That means that when Todd Palin joined the party in 1995 the platform still contained that racist language. Can anyone locate the pre-1997 platform? Presumably it would provide specific evidence that Sarah Palin's husband was a member of an openly racist organization...something that will have much more impact on both Palins (because it's easier for most people to understand) than the fact that AIP is a "fringe political party" that advocates Alaska's secession from the US.
