How can anyone be surprised at her 'meanness'. A woman that condones the cruel murdering of wolves by helicopter, including the removal of wolf pups from their den and shooting them in the head, ain't my idea of Mother THeresa. As far as politics, yes, I can see the mean streak in her. She is a talking Barbie head who got where she is by playing oil politics. Apparently Alaska has had such corrupt politicians that she was a step up? Doesn't say much for Alaska politics but does explain why she doesn't know much of anything else. And frankly, I am sick and tired of hearing about her. So please, send her back to Alaska and let them deal with her. Unfortunately, her taste for fame, fortune and power has probably kicked in by now, so she may have a hard time returning to her state.
