Sarah Palin's powerful "First Dude"

Todd Palin has exerted unusual influence on his wife's Alaska government. In Washington, their methods would do Bush and Cheney proud.

Sarah vs. Hilary

Todd Palin unelected husband of governor.

Hilary Clinton, unelected wife of President,

Looks like 'ol Maureen 'O Ugly feels a strong animal attraction

And dreamily imagines

Some Todd gone wild in Alaska

Hubba-hubba romantic action.

Cover your eyes children and ladies

This ain't gonna be pretty

But not all things in life

are promised to be

As smooth and delicious

As a bowl full of gravy.

I knew the Republicans would say "so what?"

They tortured Hillary Clinton for eight years for being "too involved," but hey, now it's no big deal for an unelected spouse to influence state government. Especially since we're talking about Palin, the do-no-wrong princess of the right.

The Republicans rammed every little criticism they could dream up down our throats for years, and now they shrug their shoulders with indifference when their side does the same thing.

Hypocrites.

Why Todd is so scary

Todd Palin exerts more influence over his wife than the average person would expect but there is a very good reason for that. As bible-believing fundamentalists she is required to bend to his will. There'd be questions among his beer-drinking, snowmobile racing, bible thumping buddies if he did not give at least the appearance of controlling his wife.

More religious rightism in the Palin camp.
