Nobody could ever accuse most Republicans of being "curious" about how government works. That's simply not their objective. Their objective is to destroy government and make it function poorly - except for themselves and their handful of friends. Most Republicans could care less about whether streets get paved, how it's paid for, or whether or not Social Security checks are received on time. They and their friends are not effected by any of their piss-poor management of government.
Republicans despise government. Republicans despise government. And they won't be happy until every other American despises their own government too. It's part of the plan: Like destroying public education. It's part of the plan: Like destroying social security. It's part of the plan to destroy the United States and turn the entire country back into a plantation for the wealthy with the rest of us just working it.
