  • @ mammoth troll

Roland T. Bird in a 1939 article in Natural History (43:5.254-61) mentioned giant carved human footprints from Glen Rose, Texas. Clifford Burdick refusing to believe the prints were carved, searched and located the prints in 1945. In 1961 pictures of these tracks appeared in The Genesis Flood. In 1970 Stanley Taylor with a film crew dammed up the Paluxy River to produce the film Footprints in Stone which claimed dinosaur and human footprints are found together.

References to these footprints and other alleged instances are all over the internet and in books printed decades ago.

Next time before you go trolling - maybe you should do some research.

Only complete total mindless idiots believe in creationism. Human footprints indeed. Prove it.

  • Ann Kilkenny and Rev. Besser are good for starting rumors.

    It seems.

Kilkenny spread the story that Sara Palin presented the local librarian with a list of books to bann and fired her. Not exactly. She questioned the librarian on her opinion about censoring books and apparently gave her a list. The Librarian said she woulldn't remove any books from the library and continued to work there for two years. leaving of her own accord. I read Kilkenny's letter and heard her on NPR. She could hardly get a sentence out without giggling. I guess she gave herself away when she said Sara Palin has hated her for years and she is a democratic activist. Community Organizer? No, not that important.

As for reverend Besser, I doubt I would have a lot of interest in a preacher outing himself in a theological book. What could be more boring?

Can't Salon come up with better stories?

  • I'm not usually a fan of Baptist ministers...

    ...but I LIKE this man!!!

  • Find something of substance

So many of you people are so scared of Sarah Palin because she is nothing like you seem to be. You attack her beliefs (if what you say are actually her beliefs)and push the same old leftist buttons (gay issues, abortion issues) that the demos have been pushing every four years since the early 1970's to try to stay in power or regain power. And look what that has gotten us. Massive government dependency and constant attacks on the family, particularly the decimation of black families. There's no money left. It's happening now before your eyes. The government's broke. Stick to the issues, like the economy and the loss of our constitutional rights and how to fix both.

  • Really!?!

So I'm guessing your a close-minded Atheist instead of a close-minded christian and that definately makes you better than her! Here's some food for thought. If christians are wrong then your right, and there is nothing after death and the jokes on us. However, if we're right then the unbelievers spend the rest of their non-life in the firey depths of hell. Sorry, I'll take that gamble. I'd personally rather be in heaven or nowhere than burning in HELL. Sounds like everyone just wants to talk crap. So you're all going to freak out over how she answered a few questions back in 1996? How many people say things and then may or may not change their views 5-10 yrs later? I know I've changed alot of veiws since coming to Christ 3 yrs ago and it has turned our house upside down in a good way. So Mr. Bess, you're a Baptist minister and call people to change their minds for Christ on a regular basis;or do you? Does that mean that they can't change their beleifs of the world thereafter? Have you talked to God personally 'bout the dinosaurs? I teach my kids that he created them, guess I'm missed that memo from God. My RSV says he created beasts and other animals. It was a Serpent in Eden not a snake and apparently had legs or something if God cursed it and said, "upon your belly you shall go and dust you shall eat." Ok so NOW it MIGHT be a snake, after-the-fact. Nowhere in my bible does it say Jonah was swallowed by a pretty whale it was a GREAT FISH, possibly prehistoric. I certainly wouldn't want to belong to a church where my past, uneducated beliefs or sins, kept being brought up. That would kinda be like they were never forgiven, like Christs blood was not sufficient. If Palin stands firmly on her beleifs of today then thats what we vote for unless you see her shooting pool in a bar and/or talking out of the other side of her mouth, today or present tense.(and you better have a witness or 2 or 3 with you.) Who put you in the judgement seat against who she is today based on who she was 12 years ago. Are you saying that you'd rather see OBAMA in office? Yeah, he's not scarey at all. If ya like big teeth and a talk show host! R you seriously a Baptist minister? That is scarey! Do you want him in because he's black or 'cause he'd do a good job. We need to stop voting for party, color and sex; and start voting for Godly qualities. The ones they represent today not what they stood for 12 yrs ago. People can and do change all it takes is having God in their heart!

  • Dinosaurs & Palin

I was astounded to read that Sarah Palin believes that the earth is 6000 years old and that this belief is based on human and dinosaur tracks occurring together.

That would be the Palux River Tracks, near Glen Rose TX. It was in the early eighties that Henry Morris, Director of the Institute for Creation Research told me at Christian Heritage College in El Cajon CA that "we're not using that any more." Even he had reluctantly concluded that it was a manufactured phenomenon.

That Sarah Palin would still find this fraud convincing twenty years later says something both about the Creationists' dishonesty and Sarah Palin's gullibility.

You'll take the "GAMBLE", huh? LOL! You don't think god knows you're doubting him and just hedging your bets?

If I were god I'd be much more offended by that than by someone who didn't believe in me.
