    cross

I am afraid by the end of this campaign, Sarah Palin will be nailed to her cross, with a crown of thorns on her head. And she will get millions of votes because of it. Painting her as a religious extremist, as others have mentioned, is only going to make her more popular to the evangelicals. I grew up in Alabama, and now live in Massachusetts. For people who live in a liberal environment, it is totally incomprehensible that creationism, rapture etc. can play to the sensibilities of a majority. I can tell you without hesitation that the vast majority of my former acquaintances in Alabama will be voting for Palin, I mean McCain. No, I do actually mean Palin. John McCain- way to make a Faustian Bargain.
