Baptist minister Howard Bess, who wrote a book Palin wanted banned and who fought her on abortion and gay rights, says the country should fear her election.

    My "defense" of Palin, was simply in response to the article as written and presented here.

    More importantly it was in reference to the fact that no solid evidence was offered in the article.

    I am sure there are photos of Ms. Palin out there holding a picket sign outside the doctors office, I would like to see this image of a screaming wild eyed Palin on every newspaper in the country, just as so many conservatives would like to see an image of Michelle Obama with clenched fist raised on the the front page.

    Without that cooberating evidence it is just hearsay. Hearsay may be absolutly true, but it is too easily denied to get wound up about in a political campaign.

    Given the ammount of Hearsay that Obama and Clinton have been exposed to it is unlikely that additional hearsay will help.

    I can tell you that I spoke with John McCain at length about his devoute relationship with the Church of Satan, and how Satan brought him to where he is today, but without evidence it is just too easily denied.
