Xanthro
I stated that Russia has a few kilos of Pu-238.
You then claim Russian has 120-170 kilotons of Weapons Grade, Plutonium Pu-239.
Now you're just lying to cover your ass, because you didn't say that, and I didn't say that.
This is what you just quoted:
Xanthro--Russia has almost all the remaining stockpile, measured in a few kilograms
Me: "Russia has an estimated stockpile of 120-170 metric tons
The two are not the same. And everybody can see that except you.
-- Godot..
Did I or did I not specifically mention space travel and in that context then say, "Russia has almost all the remaining stockpile, measured in a few kilograms?"
You are trying to misquote and remove all context, because that's what people like you do. Distort.
I didn't place quotes around your statement, because I added the Pu-239 part. If you don't add that, then you're off by more than a factor of ten. In context, you starting talking about weapons grade plutonium (pu-239) I added it to preserve your context. You misquoted to destroy context.
I highly doubt you even knew there was more than one type of Plutonium before today, which partially explains your continued confusion.
Athiest here too, though I would not pin it entirely on AG. Keep talking, people need to know what this AG stuff's about.
ie. No-one can deny that Christian fundies of all stripes will NEVER sit by and let this be a secular society. Evangelicism; by definition, is to carry your personal redemption message and to bring others to the fold.
The message was never unclear when I was there "Never give up. Promote, at any cost and in all areas, our message. INJECT the message if necessary". They were insecure, one-track-minded, and took no prisoners. I have literally seen families torn apart; certainly friendships.
That's why I don't trust Palin. I have seen this stuff with my own eyes, have seen the changes it has made in lifelong friends. If I've brought anything away from my association with these people; it is that strangely, they are lost. They have "found" nothing.
On a side note: Didn't McCain refer to these same people as "agents of intolerance"? I really wonder how well he and his VP will get-along together.
Long as they're not f'ing. Because LOL We all know he's a horndog.
All the best

I added the Pu-239 part.
That's right. You deliberately misquoted me and added pieces later in the attempt to cover over your lies and ignorance.
I however quoted you correctly. And then proved with evidence that you were wrong.
That's what neocons like you do. Distort, lie, and fake it. And then lie some more to cover your lying ass.
Tell us again how Hiroshima wasn't taken out by a nuke, neocon. Discredit yourself a few more times.
A great amount of heat and pressure must be applied to trigger an nuclear denotation.
Baloney. Show evidence. You can't.
You don't know what you're talking about. All you need is a critical mass.
Ask me for citations so I can rub your ignorance in your ignorant neocon face.
Evangelicism; by definition, is to carry your personal redemption message and to bring others to the fold.
By force and upon pain of death, if necessary.
And then they'll claim that "Jesus loves you."
What a crock.
Go read Suskind's book. I give it a year or two. Geenie is OUT of the bottle.
WE invented and used this monster. On this 9/11 I had the thought that maybe we should examine on this night- Not the maudlin, fading, Rah-Rah memorials; as the relatives complained today "yearly funerals".
Maybe we should look at how we got here. No, not just Bush, how we got here for the last 62 years.
That's the message people want to hear.
Xanthro--A great amount of heat and pressure must be applied to trigger an nuclear denotation.

I don't think you typed what you think you typed, so let's be clear and make sure I understand what you're saying.
1. Do nuclear warheads contain a critical mass, Yes or No?
2. Can a critical mass on it's own detonate the warhead?
It seems you are saying that if you have a critical mass, then just because of this a warhead will go detonate.
Naturally, that can't be true, because they are not going off right now.
Go read Suskind's book. I give it a year or two. Geenie is OUT of the bottle.
I agree. All of it.
The neocons are just dying to use those nukes. Xanthro has been trying to tell us that they're really not so bad:
Hiroshima was hardly taken out
Xanthro thinks that people who believe nukes are bad are living in a "comic book world".
Not that a neocon like Xanthro actually thinks. Lies, yes. Thinks, no.
It seems you are saying that if you have a critical mass, then just because of this a warhead will go detonate.
That's right. Here, have a citation:
As part of a re-creation of a 1945 criticality accident, a 'pit' of plutonium is surrounded by blocks of neutron-reflective tungsten carbide. The original experiment was designed to measure the radiation produced when an extra block was added. Instead, the mass went supercritical.

Notice that your claim that "A great amount of heat and pressure must be applied to trigger an nuclear denotation" doesn't even enter into it. Because you don't know what you're talking about.
Naturally, that can't be true, because they are not going off right now.
Once again, you don't know what you're talking about.
A warhead contains subcritical masses which are combined to create a critical mass which causes the detonation.
If a warhead didn't contain enough material to create a critical mass it wouldn't detonate and you wouldn't have a bomb.
Say "d'oh!" for us, neocon.
