I AM ASTONISHED THAT ON THIS DAY OF ALL DAYS TO WRITE AN ARTICLE LIKE THIS. I WAS A LIBERAL DEMOCRAT, BUT AFTER 9/11 MY LIFE CHANGED. WHY NOT GO INTO BARAK OBAMA'S RELGIOUS HISTORY WITH REVERNED WRIGHT? BUT I GUESS YOU EXCUSE THAT. IT WAS JUST AN OVER SIGHT THAT HE NEVER IN 20 YEARS, HIS MENTOR, NEVER HAD HE HEARD THE REVEREND SAY ANYTHING OFFENSIVE. I LOVE THE DOUBLE STANDARD. YOU HAVE MADE ME ASHAMED FOR BEING A DEMOCRAT AND A WOMAN. YOU SAY SHE WAS PICKED ON PURPOSE. BUT BIDEN WASN'T??? COME ON??? IT SEEMS THE LIBERALS ARE NOT THAT LIBERAL AFTER ALL. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU.

Your fellow neocon Xanthro thinks a ton is less than a pound.
Shouldn't you guys be suing your bible schools for making you stupid?
-- Godot...
That's twice now you've attributed to me this phrase which I never wrote or uttered.
Not only have I never gone to bible school, nor am I a neocon, I'm certainly far more aware of the measure of weights than you are.
You again abandoned any pretense of actual argument, and not are simply trying to slander by attributing to people beliefs or statements never held or made.
Thanks for letting us know a little more about Sarah...as a Christian--no particular denomination, but simply believe, like Barack, that Jesus is my savior and died for my sins--I was thrilled to hear that she is genuine in her faith and that you concluded that she is adhering to the Bible, as all Christians do. Speaking in tongues is clearly discussed in the Bible, so don't be weireded out by it. I don't speak in tongues, but know many sincere Christians who do. Thanks for the great information. I love Sarah even more.
Really, your post here is that of a sixth-grader just calling people names. It address no points, it advances no points, it's a sign of surrender and abject inability to comprehend the subject matter at hand.
This from the guy who thinks a ton is less than a pound and has to lie to cover up his ignorance.
You've attempt to argue that yield is linear in terms of destructive capability, despite being given fireball radius of various devices.
I've made no such argument, but no matter. You keep trying to distract from the evidence of your ignorance with side issues having no bearing on the actual argument.
And then you contradict yourself. Over and over again.
Tell us again that Hiroshima wasn't taken out by an atomic bomb, neocon. Discredit yourself a few more times.
Xanthro
You still making up crap to fit your lying propaganda, neocon, because the facts show you to be a liar and an idiot, 26 ways so far.
You couldn't refute any of them.
A pound is less than a ton. Were you aware of that?
-- Godot..
Everything you've posted has been so destroyed that you have to retreat to repetition of own statements.
Show where I said a pound is more than a ton. It can't be done, because you made it up in that little narrow mind of yours.
Not only have I never gone to bible school, nor am I a neocon, I'm certainly far more aware of the measure of weights than you are.
The evidence clearly says otherwise. For example:
No, in fact, both US and Russian space agencies are currently suffering from an acute shortage of plutonium. Russia has almost all the remaining stockpile, measured in a few kilograms, and that stock pile will be depleted in a few years.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, neocon:
Russia has an estimated stockpile of 120-170 metric tons of weapons-grade plutonium
http://www.armscontrol.org/act/2007_12/USRussia
120 tons is more than a few kilograms. Were you aware of that, neocon?
You measure things differently in the Alternate Bush Universe?
I can keep rubbing your own ignorance in your face until your nose has been ground down to your cheekbones, neocon.
Everything you've posted has been so destroyed that you have to retreat to repetition of own statements.
The evidence says otherwise.
Want it rubbed it your face a few more times?
Xanthro--No, a sustained critical chain reaction is hard to maintain, the very process blows itself apart.
You're contradicting yourself.
You do that constantly.
-- Godot...
It's hard to sustain because the process blows itself up. There's nothing even remotely contradictory in the statement.
It's noted that you've abandoned all pretense to actually debating the matter, and now all your last post have consisted of nothing more than your own verbal declarations, and attributing to others that which has not been said.
Show where I said a pound is more than a ton.
Just did.
Next.
It's hard to sustain because the process blows itself up. There's nothing even remotely contradictory in the statement.
It obvious to anybody but a nitwit but yourself that it is a contradiction.
If it were "hard to sustain" it wouldn't be so easy to sustain that it blows up.
You can't even understand the very simplest concepts. We're laughing at you.
You keep name calling with "Wingnut", "Neocon", or whatever name Randi Rhodes is feeding you today. I can't see that you have actually made a point. Show your intelligence instead of leveraging the "gotcha" mentality of the current political cycle.
Based on the criticisms of this article, Billy Graham should now be labeled as a freak, too, I guess. Seems anyone who talks of God—and how one can have a real relationship with Him—is a labeled a freak.
In His time, Jesus was labeled a freak. A fanatic. A looney. His message was incredibly radical. (And it still is.)
It's incredulous that Palin is being labeled a freak for being a follower of Jesus, while Obama is being praised and likened to Jesus, since Jesus was now, apparently, also a "community organizer". The fact is: Jesus was anything but a community organizer. Jesus preached the Gospel and revealed Himself as the only true way to God. The Gospel does not unify. It divides. It separates the believers from the non-believers of Christ. How has it come to this in America — that Christianity is increasingly under such extreme attacks? That Christians cannot hold their own beliefs without being labeled as freaks? Everyone is free to believe (or worship) as he or she wishes, but not if you are a Christian. If you are demonstrative of your faith in any way, you are fanatical and should be watched carefully.
Yes, there are some members of churches who speak in tongues. It's a form of prayer and it is freaky to those who have never witnessed it or are not familiar with it. But it is Biblical. And a God-given gift. Do not criticize or cast suspect on things unfamiliar to you. Do not be so quick to publicly rush to judgement. Palin's faith appears to have served her well. She has a good head on her shoulders, and, apparently, very sound judgement when it comes to moving a community or state forward. Her record is one of progress. Why is she being called out for having spent time as a member of a charismatic church? Has she killed someone? What do her ACTIONS in office tell us? We know she hasn't killed anyone. And we know she's pro-life. (Apparently, being pro-life is becoming extreme now, too—to believe in protecting the lives of "the weakest of these" is somehow crazy, when not too long ago, the opposite was true. Killing babies who are nearly full-term is ok. But don't start talking to God if I can't understand you!)
Give me a break, people. There's real discussion of real issues. Then there's rhetoric. Enough already.
Enough.
