Social conservatives do not celebrate out of wedlock pregnancies. But people sometimes make bad choices. And if that bad choice happens to be out of wedlock sex that results in a fertilized egg and the beginning of a new human life, we will celebrate young women who choose to take responsibility for their mistake rather than compounding their mistake by making that new life pay the price.
Bristol didn't make a 'bad' choice she made an ill informed one. And you are utter hypocrites to pretend that you 'celebrate' the imminent arrival of an unplanned and generally unwanted new life.
You lot don't give a damn for the child except that it now acts as a millstone around a young and ignorant persons neck.
And it hangs there because of the bad choices and mistakes that YOU lot make constantly in the manner in which you rear your young in an atmosphere of wrong headed ignorance. It's YOUR mistakes that the child with child is paying for not her own.
But you lot, stubborn and righteous to the end without a grain of humility in you that might lead to learning and dare I say it evolution is completely missing from both your genes from your heads and above all from your hearts.
If I had my way, I'd have the lot of you put down. You are more trouble than you are worth and further more when ever you get any where near power you are as much lovers of bloodied war as you are of the unborn child.
You think you are the Chosen which leads you all towards the most appalling of the sins - Pride and above all - Spiritual Pride. The sooner your days are over and you are rammed back in the toy box from which you were only prized in order that the likes of Cheney/Rove could for their own purposes jerk your chains and manipulate you the sooner America might start the long road back to some sort of cultural sanity.
Based on the constant photo-ops of the daughter (usually with babe-in-arms) and now her boyfriend - I think McSame picked Sarah BECAUSE she had a preggo daughter - I think Sarah doesn't see this as a "personal family crisis" but as a political career boost for her! That woman is actually pimping her pregnant child in front of the camaras!
Yes and why exactly is Sarah the mother's child Trig always in the arms of Bristol who is supposedly pregnant with her own illegitimate (their word not mine)child?
How often does that Sarah ever hold her own baby?
I've only seen one picture and Sarah Palin was holding it away whilst on a mobile phone.
The way Palin was "vetted" is the Republican message "I, John McCain, don't need pre-selection feedback on a VP because I don't care what you think America. This is about me not you America. It's our way not your way, just the way George Bush does it.
>Friday
>Why didn't they tell us all this stuff on Friday?
>Wouldn't that have been the intelligent decision?
Err no shouldn't that be intelligent design?:)
Anyone who thinks McCain would drop her from the ticket is deluded. The level of hysteria in the left-leaning American press and broadcast media is proof enough she was a good choice for the Republicans. Liberal socialists have met their Anti-Christ and they are trembling with a fear that is rattling their very souls. It's an eye opening view into the hypocrisy of the view that women are dominated by a male society. She is a Republican and that is the real danger.
And Obama, the Washington outsider preaching change? He picked Biden, a Washington insider for 36 years.
Obama, the enemy of lobbyists? He picked Biden, whose son is a Washington lobbyist for a bank that is Biden's biggest campaign contributor.
Obama, the friend of the working man? He picked Biden, who voted for a bankruptcy bill that denied protection to those impoverished by medical expenses (a bill supported by the bank his son lobbied for, the bank that is Biden's largest financial supporter.
Obama knew all about Biden and chose him anyway. Change we believe in. Right.
This is just the sequel. The evil, biased librul media will so terrorize poor, poor Sarah - she of the squeaky-clean family values - that she'll just "have to drop out of the race to spare her family and her party any more pain". Party, I mean Country, first, right?
Then Cranky McSame's handlers will introduce the old white guy that they planned on running as VP all along (Mitt? Joe? Voldemort? Satan?) and all the PUMAs and fence-sitters and just plain stooopid 'mericuns will feel bad, so bad for poor, poor Sarah and vote for McCain against that black feller with the funny last name.
It's just like that whole Harriet Miers debacle. Nothing these people do is not planned out! They may be greedy fascists but they are not stupid. Of course they vetted Sarah Palin - they vetted the crap out of her. This is all planned out. There's no way it's not!
McCain Camp Knocks Down Enquirer's Palin Rumor

From CBS News' John Bentley:
(ST. PAUL, MINN.) – John McCain’s campaign threatened legal action against the National Enquirer today for running a story about McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin, allegedly having an affair with her husband’s business partner.
“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt.
She's not only a bad mommy, she's a bad wife. She's an incompetent slut, and she is gonna be destroyed.
was the John Edwards affair.
Gee, they sure were wrong about that.
Awesome, they are rarely wrong, lets see if Johnny Mac really does sue. What shoe will drop next.
“They didn’t seriously consider her until four or five days from the time she was picked, before she was asked, maybe the Thursday or Friday before,” said a Republican close to the campaign. “This was really kind of rushed at the end, because John didn’t get what he wanted. He wanted to do Joe or Ridge.”
If McCain is running for the job of commander in chief, shouldn't he be able to get what he wants? If he can't control his own campaign, how will he be able to control the country, the economy, the military, the budget....?
