  • she's had executive experience!

she's not only run a state, she's run a town; maybe not the biggest of either, or for a long time, but more than obama, mccain, biden, and even hillary put together! so....

Sarah for president! Sarah for president! Sarah for president! It's not too late for the Republicans to correct the order on their ticket! Sarah for president! Sarah for president! Everybody email the republicans! Sarah for president! Sarah for president! Sarah for president!

Strangely enough America is currently out doing Britain when it comes to sexual hypocrisy and prurience.

Don't give yourself airs, the US has always been a world leader in hypocrisy and prurience in all matters sexual.

We *are* Number One after all.

Number one in out of wedlock births to teenagers of all the industrialized nations.

    USA, NUMBER ONE

    USA, NUMBER ONE

    And don't you forget it..

  • How Dare McCain

How dare "songbird POW" McCain be so arrogant and narcissitic to jeopardize the future of all Americans with the choice of Palin. How little he thinks of all of us to choose to leave America in the hands of this person if he dies in office. Not only is he exploiting women with this condescending (image only) choice, he and Palin are also exploiting her disabled son and teen daughter's pregnancy for political gain. Quess her daughter wasn't pregnant yet when Palin cut funding for the unwed teen pregnancy center in Alaska.

There is other evidence out there Palin cannot manage her own family (much less the country) including her son's reasons for joining the Army, and future shotgun son-in-law's mySpace page removed due to all the expletives and statement that he did not want children. Palin even doctored her Wikipedia page just before the announcement. What hypocrisy from people who claim to have ownership of moral values and character.

These people are a slap in the face to all Americans. Sadly, many Americans besides McCain just don't get it. What will they think when our America is gone? Especially the MSM who report none of the facts and allow the Repugs to get away with claiming Palin has more "executive" experience than Obama, Biden, or McCain himself. It would be laughable if not so tragic for our country if they win this election.

Pleas to stay above the fray and play nice don't cut it anymore, the Rove bullies have proved that. It's time to get angry and stand up and fight!

  • Palin's ties to Alaska separatists

    Her connection to Alaska Separatists.

Some things do matter. Sarah Palin has close ties to the Alaska Independence Party (AIP). Here is what the founder of the AIP said.

    From Wikipedia

The Alaskan Independence Party quotes Vogler as stating "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan_Independence_Party

Although it is debatable whether she ever "belonged" to the party, her support of them is not. Here is a recent speach that she taped for their convention.

This is right up there with ties to the John Birch society or the Posse Comatatus (sorry don't remember correct spelling).

  • fer crying out loud

yeah, the mccain team knew all about bristol and her baby daddy last week before making up their mind, but palin's press spokesman had no idea on saturday. need to know thing, i guess.

is there the slightest shadow of a doubt that the kid came forward last sunday "uh mom, we have to talk" (which is perfectly normal) and they are now lying their asses off to look like they are in total control of everything (which is really abnormal)? following in the bush footsteps, i see, bringing honor and dignity and most of all truth back to the white house.

  • One more question for the social conservatives...

I'm trying hard to understand this situation and once more I beg your indulgence in deciphering this moral dilemma.

Bristol Palin's pregnancy is apparently something that should be celebrated, she is after all going to be on the stage at the RNC along with her sperm donor.

And yet, Britney Spear's younger sister was berated rather harshly by social conservatives for what appears to me to be essentially the same condition.

Now I am positive that there must be some essential difference between these two young ladies that leads to the difference in the way their delicate errr.... condition is being treated but I'm unable to put my finger on just what that that difference might be. Could someone with a far more nuanced sense of morality than my own obviously damaged one please help me out here?

    Alaska is the biggest state.

In fact I remember the joke going around when Alaska became a state that Texans had better zip their lips about state size or Alaska would divide into two states and that would make Texas number three.

So Sarah Palin is eminently qualified to guide a nation of 300 million diverse people. I wouldn't be surprised if she has actually met a black person by now.

  • SHE'S AN EXTREMIST !!!!!

Speaking before the Pentecostal church, Palin painted the current war in Iraq as a messianic affair in which the United States could act out the will of the Lord.

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God," she exhorted the congregants. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."

SHE IS A VERY SCARY PERSON!!!!!

    How Dare McCain

How little he thinks of all of us

It's just possible that McCain has overestimated the stupidity of the American voter here. But Republican political analysts don't think so.

If it turns out the pubs have really screwed up on this one they'll just have Dubya nuke Chicago and blame it on the "terr'rists", and suddenly pubs will have their majority back.

Aren't you glad McCain didn't pick Pat Robertson?
