She's pretty damn hot, and you can see that the morals round the Palin house are, theoretical, at best.
Tonight, Sarah Palin is going to tip the balance in this election to John McCain. Here is how:
First, zillions of people are going to be watching to find out who she is. Most of them did not see her speech when John McCain introduced her as his running mate. So what they know is mostly what the MSM has told them--in short, they will have low expectations (thanks MSM and left-wing bloggers).
Secondly, she is then going to give a great speech. She will say lots of reasonable things; she will be extremely likable; she will be very much an 'everywoman'; and, most importantly, she will make those zillions of Americans say, "Whoa! She is ready be VP. They will conclude she is no shrinking violet and will look forward to her debate with 'Slow' Joe Biden. (And it will become clear that Sarah Biden is the true blue collar candidate in this election--not Joe Biden (who clearly grew up middle class or better and keeps his blue collar rep simply cuz the MSM are in his corner).
The once independent thinking man McCain)has become a party panderer. McCain claims to have vetted Palin a woman whom he met once is rediculous. If that's called good judgement, I am worried about our country.
As for Joe Lieberman's praise of Palin last night with no mention of his friend Joe Biden is a Zel Miller disgrace. The real story is Lieberman The Benedict Arnold of the Democratic party. Joe Lieberman met Palin once as well and yet he touted her experience. What experience? This Palin pick was to satisfy the base and is obviously surprised by the negative news she is making. To ask for special treatment for Palin is ridiculous. Senator Clinton was treated with disprect and sexism. No one came to her defense and Palin who unsuccessfully tried to compare herself to Clinton is way out of her league since Palin called Hillary a whiner during the primaries and now she speaks of the "glass ceiling".
The person whining the most behind the scene is McCain for selecting a controversial VP who is creating more questions about her integrity then answers. I don't think this was well thought through. A teenage daughter pregnant should not be held to a different standard then Brittney Spears teen sister who faced enormous scrutiny with her pregnancy. The general consensus was Spears was a bad influence on our teens.
If Palin was vetted, the person responsible should be fired for creating controversy rather then complimenting the base. This Palin pick is an enormous blunder one which McCain will regret.
...what socialism and high taxes are all about. Please thank your neighbors for helping you see the light.
How sad that sooooooo many people are against women. Certainly one would have thought that the democratic party would be the one to nominate a qualified woman first given that the party was founded on equal rights for all.......but instead the democratic party proved during the primary that words are just words and they are opposed to women in general. The democrats had easily most qualified woman, Hillary, ready, willing and able as well as 18 million voters behind her but chose to nominate any one else instead and now have nominated a completely unqualified male instead. I urge all women to think for themselves. Actions are much louder than pretend words from the democrats. They have proven that they will nominate absolutely anything rather than the most qualified candidate if and when the most qualified candidate is female. The Republicans have proven that they are willing to nominate a qualified woman even when she is a maverick....and even when they could have chosen an equally qualified man. I am a lifetime democrat and became a democrat because they pretended to be in favor of equal rights for all including women.......they lied.....their actions are perfectly clear. Now we see the democrats slandering Sarah Palin with typical demeaning language used only to slight women like "she's difficult to work with", "what kind of Mother would run for VP with 5 kids to care for?" .....of course the husband/Father is also slandered here since the argument implies that he is unqualified to care for his kids which ofcourse is not true.......or "she's a beauty queen" as if beauty means stupid. Sarah is no Hillary and will be beaten by Hillary in 2012 but for right now Sarah Palin's election with John McCain saves women's rights........actions speak louder than words. Self respecting women will vote McCain/Palin 2008
The media is sore over not being included in McCain's professional decision so they are out to cut her to shreds--They'll show him!!Vindictive and nasty especially fueled by the liberal folks. Their darling the not prepared for presidency Obama didn't pick a qualified female because she was more prepared than the top of the ticket.Too bad! McCain used his judgement on this VP choice. Is it so unbelievable that a woman can do it all--this is really sexist/disappointing on the part of democrats/media.
The whole Palin/McCain process is an embarrassment. Regardless of the specifics (well discussed in other letters) this whole affair is just one gaffe after another.
It reminds me of the little boy caught with his hand in the cookie jar, protesting that no, really , he didn't reach for the cookies.
Regardless of the specifics, If I were John McCain I would be very unhappy. This whole affair would make me feel as if I were incompetent and didn't use good judgment.
Well, maybe Sen. McCain doesn't feel that way, but I suspect lots of people do feel that way about his behavior. And I bet a lot of them are Republicans and independents.
This whole thing is ugly; are we supposed to believe that Sen. McCain is showing wise judgment, mature leadership skills and presidential demeanor? Forget the issues for a moment; the Palin affair demonstrates at the very least sheer political incompetence. Not the first time we've seen this, but at least it came before the vote, so no one can say we weren't warned.
