    Amusing

I actually doubt that McCain knew about Miss Bristol's very delicate condition. Look at the actual video of the announcement, McCain looking Bristol up and down with wide eyes, McCain's daughter standing there staring at her.

If you really want to know about what is going on in small towns, you don't consult official sources, you find the best gossip in town. I can go back to my mother's small town and know everything that is going on within an hour just by keeping my mouth shut. The neighbor lady who lives down the street keeps an eye on my elderly mother for me ... well not just that ... she keeps an eye on everybody.

Also, small town newspapers are notorious for discretion. They don't even print all the crimes. If they offend enough readers, they will soon be out of business.

I can't help but be amused by the idea of a bunch of smartass lawyers utterly fooled.

I think Sarah Palin is some ambitious piece of work. Damn! I almost admire her.
