It seems highly improbable that McCain and/or his campaign knew of Bristol's out of wedlock baby. If they did, why would they have risked a backhanded slap to conservatives. No to Lieberman, yes to Palin???
McCain's choice of Palin will not be retracted. Of course, Palin could resign. If choosing Palin was a mistake, then cutting her loose would be a bigger mistake. This is a no win situation for McCain. But worse, it will be a disastrous error in judgement should McCain be elected. I know Republicans are incapable of doing the right thing for the country; the rest of us need to be sure to vote for Obama and put America first.
Regarding the issue of Obama's versus Palin's experience, let us not lose sight of the fact that as citizens, we can vet Obama by, or not, casting a vote for him. We don't have that opportunity with Palin. If McCain is elected, we have to accept her whether she is up to the job or not.
