It's interesting that Alaska is by far the most "socialist" state in the Union...Alaska has no income tax, every Alaskan gets a check from the government every year.

And Sarah Palin was working as governor to maximize the size of that check.

Interesting post there. Makes Alaska seem like Saudi Arabia with snow. Could it possibly be that the neo cons have plans to encourage Alaskan secession? That way it would save the Fed money in subsidies and at the same time make Alaskans totally dependent on whatever they can get for their oil. And if it was tied up like an Iraqi Security pact that might suit Cheney down to the ground.
Just a thought. Maybe Palin is the new Chalabi. As I say - just a thought.
