I've really risen in political ranks being attacked by one of Obama's attack dogs. Snarling, druel hanging beast that you are. Good Luck!

"Bristol not only owned up and will, hopefully, carry her baby to term but she plans to marry the father. That makes her different from millions of other young and older girls in America and far different from millions of others who bear children out of wedlock and whose boyfriends then dump them and are seen and heard from no more."
Yeah, really?
Have the soon-to-be wedded couple stated this, from their own lips? Why, no. What we have is Mommie and Daddie, cramming them into a marriage, to make sure that Mommie's GREAT BIG IMPORTANT CAREER is not derailed.
Mommie's career is SO IMPORTANT that she is gonna kill ol' Levi if he doesn't make an honest woman of that hot little Bristol.
That's the usual approach: "You either agree to marry Bristol, or I am gonna take you out right here, right now - me and my trusty aught-six will make that happen. I'll shoot you down like a dog, buddy, and my friends in the Alaska Police Department will ensure that things work out fine."
Ol' Sarah is playing for all the marbles. She's MORE important than Levi, more important than Bristol, really MORE IMPORTANT than anybody.
She cannot be stopped. Our country NEEDS Sarah more than anything.
I didn't know it was any of you business about Gov. Palin's daughter getting married and the young man she's going to marry. I'm sure they'd love to have your input. Did you dodge a shot gun yourself?
"Where did she go wrong and why did she sin? Here’s a clue: She’s a kid and, governor’s kid or not, she’s a dumb teenager who made a mistake. Dumbteenager should logically be one word since, no matter how book smart they are, by definition teens are dumb in the sense of being immature and impulsive, and, yes, they’re bubbling with hormones. Put those characteristics together and they make errors in their lives, sometimes serious errors the consequences of which change their lives forever."
Yep, she made a mistake. Hey, but here's a fun question: WHEN did she sin?
Well, using my magic calendar, and subtraction, it appears that ol' Bristol was playing "hide the salami" in .... April.
And what is going on in April? Well, here's another hint: Sarah, that epitome of the Caring, Selfless Mommy, was just settling in to being Governor at that time.
Mommy Sarah seems to have dropped the ball big time during that period. That "settling-in" period, when she was learning how to Be the BIG MOOSE-SHOOTING ROOTIN'-TOOTIN' CHEESE of a Governor, was also the period where she got preggers again at the age of 43. That's also the time she was abusing her power as Governor trying to get the ex-brother-in-law fired. That's when she was changing her story about being against the Bridge to Nowhere.
She was SO BUSY being the BIG MOOSE-SHOOTING ROOTIN'-TOOTIN' CHEESE that she forgot to check where her kid was.
She couldn't even keep track of a single 16 year old. You want this incompetent to be in charge of the Nuclear Suitcase?
"Oh, gee, where did I put that old suitcase? They told me it was important, but gee, I was just so busy dressing mooses that I put it down, and just forgot where it was. We can replace it, can't we?"
"but unprotected straight sex is producing children who must...be raised by emotionally unequipped 17 year old parents."
First off, that's a cheap shot at a 17-year-old, and you don't know whether she & her boyfriend are emotionally equipped or not--and have absolutely no right to.
Obama's mom was only 18 herself and was much like Palin's daughter during much tougher times to be a young mother (especially of a biracial child).
"Sarah Palin is a right-wing, pro-life hero because she didn't abort her Down syndrome baby. Funny, if abortion really is murder, I would think that the simple act of refraining from murder would just make someone normal, not a saint."
But that exactly is the whole point of the right. They feel that life has been devalued and that society pushes people to abort less than "perfect" children. A disturbing aspect of the pro-choice movement is that kids with Down's and some other disabilities are being systematically erased from our society through abortion.
In China and India, women are aborting girls because it makes more economic and social sense to have boys. We in the West are understandably horrified by this and demand that those two societies upend 5000 years of history along with the underlying social structure and economics to make the world more accommodating for girls. In the meantime, we as a society here are aborting disabled kids at unprecedented levels because these kids would likely posed tremendous hardships on parents and relatively few people think anything of it.
But beyond the case of disabled kids, soon we may acquire the technology and understanding to predict other traits (sexuality, behavioral traits, and who knows what else).
One of the concerns of the pro-life movement is that we could be on the brink of eradicating whole classes of "undesirable" or "troublesome" people from our society: kids with Down's, congenitally blind or deaf kids, kids that might turn out to be gay, and on and on.
I'm honestly creeped out by that, how about you?
"Now, Baby, virtually anything goes and I’m not sure I should even use “virtually” there. So, here we have pretty, pregnant Bristol Palin, born and raised in a God-fearing, conservative, Christian family which adheres to and preaches Christian values, with parents who oppose sex education in her schools, who surely inculcated in Bristol the importance of chastity and sexual abstinence. However, unfortunately, parental influence and teachings have defined limits and only a cloistered child who is locked in her room 24/7 will be free of contradictory influences."
What an incredibly insulting comment. In point of fact, I am the father of 2 girls and 1 boy. None of them are pregnant. In fact, we are atheist socialists in our house. However, it is not our religion or anything else which plays a part in the fact that my children are not pregnant.
We had our kids go through a really explicit sex ed class. Condoms on bananas, etc. That isn't it either, though.
I'm just not as Important as Saint Sarah the Christian Martyr. Instead of spending my time RUNNING THE WORLD AS A BIG MOOSE-SHOOTING CHEESE, I worked with my kids.
