"Besides his hard play on the ice, Levi Johnston was also a bit of a hell-raiser off it - another reason Bristol may have been smitten.
State troopers popped Johnston last year for snagging some king salmon out of season in Moose Lake, records from Alaska wildlife enforcement show. He had to pay $370 bail.
On his MySpace page, Johnston proudly declares: "I'm a f---in' redneck."
"I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing," he says on the site.
He also warns that if anyone messes with him, "I'll kick ass."
The Web site, before it was removed, appeared not to have been accessed for a year.
On it, he admits to having a girlfriend.
On the part where it asks about children, he wrote, "I don't want kids." "

You can't make this stuff up. He's an effin' redneck? Really? Wow! I never woulda guessed! Don't want kids? Shocker!
This girl got pregnant on purpose, folks. Which makes it all the more pathetic.
p.s. RANCE SPERGL FOR PRESIDENT.
Privacy? When did social conservatives convert to the belief that sex and family matters should not be intrusively surveilled and regulated? Just yesterday? Or just in this one case?
The real issue is not the Palin's sorry family story. The issue is how McCain makes big personnel decisions. Now we know.
1. How did McCain lose control of picking who he wanted as VP?
2. Why was Palin not properly vetted?
3. What does it say about Palin's judgment to potentially be President of the United States that she accepted the offer to be running mate despite all the challanges she faces in her private life?
4. What does it say about McCain's judgment that he offered her the job under the circumstances and/or allowed himself to be guided by unseen hands into this type of position?
The problem with Bristol Palin is not that she is pregnant and 17. In fact, I agree that minor children, in particular, should be left out of politics. The problem with Bristol is the hypocrisy of the Republican party. They want the "family values" argument to ignore that a) abstinence only programs are short sighted and do not work; b) that the divorce rate when people marry in their teens is the highest of any demographic; c) that Republicans do not support health care for everyone, only those who can afford it (too many pregnant teens are not covered and these pregnancies are high risk to start with); d) Viagra is covered under most healthcare plans but birth control is not; e) with the decline in middle class wages over the past 20 years most families are forced to have both parents work at least part time leaving the rearing of our children to the schools where we tie their hands and bind their mouths in terms of what they can actually teach; and f) the GOP likes to tax work and not income which has caused an acceleration of real wage decrease among the middle class. Does anyone in the GOP know what the impact of Alternative Minimum Tax is on wage earning, middle class families?
Sarah Palin is an abstinence only, "intelligent design", no taxation, Republican. She is one of the biggest hypocrites of all. She turns a blind eye and closes down conversation to teenage sex, the environment and the plight of the citizens she purports to support. Sure she arranged for every Alaskan to receive $1,000. But she in turn demands that they turn a blind eye to the rape of the environment by big oil. With their record profits this is a very small price to pay. A sustainable jobs program (no, not building a bridge to nowhere or a new Wal-Mart) would have done more for these folks.
It is exactly this hypocrisy that has turned me off of the GOP since Reagan. The Bush crowd has taken it one step further in embracing a "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" mentality while cutting off the very bootstraps that people are supposed to pull themselves up by. They embrace the hypocrisy and wrap themselves in church and the flag. In that order.
Hypocrisy is always more convenient than the truth. If the GOP seriously wants women's votes they need to stop the naked pandering and start talking about the things that matter to us. Education is at the top of the list. "Intelligent design" and abstinence only programs just don't get the job done. I agree with whoever said that Sarah Palin is no more than "Dan Quayle, but with less experience."
Leave Bristol Palin alone. She has enough problems. Attack her mother and John McCain for the hypocrites they are.
That is the hard part about being a conservative. We believe in taking responsibility for our mistakes and not forcing someone else (like a defenseless baby) to do so.

Yeah, cause God knows you'd NEVER do something like, say, start a groundless war and then pawn off the trillions in debt caused by said war to future generations. No, you'd raise taxes to pay for it responsibly and you'd bring back the draft, so everyone -- rich and poor -- would share the pain equally, right?
By the way, how's that abstinence-only sex ed working out for you?
And one more thing: The concern trolls who're saying to lay off poor Bristol when her mommy wants to stick the government's nose into everyone else's sexual business? Fuck right off (but responsibly of course, so you don't catch anything unwanted, like, say, an unplanned pregnancy).
(snigger, snigger, snort - hee-hee!)
This is hilarious. It will be interesting to count the double-digits of grandbabies this mob is going to bless Grandma Palin with over the next decade. And I hope someone is going to have the decency to keep an eye on that retarded grandchild!
What sterling role models for America! (America in the 1700's).
Sure she' a Christian, Pro-lifer, so's 80% of the base. It doesn't mean she is immune from familial challenges. She has
almost two years experience as governor, went up against a corrupt Republican machine, visited Iraq and wounded troops in Germany LAST YEAR!! fought big oil companies for the people of Alaska. Take all these things and attribute them to an older male candidate and I bet you've got no problem. You're the problem!
