Hurricane Bristol hits Minnesota

Republicans try to brush off the tempest over Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and turn that other storm in Louisiana into a political prop.

    Holier than Thou!!!!!

I will have to agree with some of the first letters I read. If this were Obama's teen age daughter that was pregnant there would be no end to the screeching from the Republican 'holier than thous' that infest this country! The Republican Slime Machine would be running full bore. But, considering the fact it's a Republican's daughter who wasn't taught any form of birth control. Obviously received literally no sex education at home or anywhere else. We can only assume all she received was 'Absentance only' education. We are supposed to turn our heads and respect her privacy????? I don't think so!!! The Republican's have never once respected a woman's privacy to decide if she wants to bear a child or have an abortion. They have never once respected her right to birth control. They have never once respected any Gay's right to live the way they choose. Or anyone else with differing views for that matter! Even though I can understand why Obama said what he did to his campaign people. I respect him for having a few ethic's and not turning this into a mug slinging contest. I don't think he necessarily included the rest of us in that directive. I see the girl as fair game. If the Republican's want to live in glass houses then need to stop bellyaching when someone throws rocks at them! Maybe they should get out of the 'birth control' business!
