  • @Mr. Maranci

You already sound as though you're stirred to a panic, why such banal blubbering, why so tiresomely frantic?

The DNC convention has barely begun, and you're already sounding like an early ape man, watching with worried apprehension and attention, his first eclipse of the son.

    Do settle down sir.

"After nearly 40 years of essentially Republican rule, (28 out of 40), the Democrats have a real shot at putting some genuinely gifted politicians in office. Not a flash-in-the-pan luckout like Clinton, (who never would have been elected without Ross Perots help), but real technicians at getting things done"

I am not so sure how old you are, but if you think that Clinton who was elected to two terms is a "flash-in-the-pan" then you either do not understand the statement or you are an idiot;either way, to reduce one of the best presidents we have had to a "flash in the pan luckout" who will not have won his two terms without Ross Perot is incredibly naive and moronic.

I still say Hill and Bill are the answer to our problem but who's interested ?? All I hear is "CHANGE !!" and Biden is in Jurisdiction and Foreign Politics, not Finance & Economics....

  • "We need to hang that darky from a tree"...

...was an actuality I heard on TV from a male West Virginia native after their primary. I do not know which network, but it might have been Fox since I rarely watch the alphabets.

  • @Donah603

You asked the right question: "Who's interested?"

  • @peter maranci

Nice post. You convinced me. I'm on board with Obama, but it took me till after the primary season, and I was no big Hillary supporter either. Anyway, no need to "settle down ... ape man" as Klytus advised. Your counter-response impressed me. Then again, I'm a jaded mercenary when it comes to most of this shit -- you know, the lesser of two evils voter who doesn't mind hearing about the flaws of the candidate for whom he'll pull the lever.

  • The Gals @ N.O.W. are ECSTATIC too....

If those well known 'egalitarians' @ N.O.W. think Joe Biden is an excellent choice then all MEN beware in fact let me extend that to all heterosexuals. Biden is a panderer in chief to this bunch of lesbian radical Marxist feminists. The guys and gals and this forum are pretty smart folks on the whole so I will let you get googling to do your own homework. Of course if you are in favour of undermining marriage, the nuclear family whilst praising or promoting same sex 'marriage' then of course you will be completely blinded to what I talking about. You will also be the kind of moron that fails to see the sexism say in an act costing billions of taxpayers money entitled the Violence Against WOMEN Act...

  • Biden

I did not support obama prior to the selection of Biden as his VP. Now that Biden is on the ticket... I still do not support obama. Nobody votes for the number 2 spot. Why would anyone suggest that this will have anything but the most minimal impact on the campaign?

  • Who else was there?

Who else was he going to pick? There was no one else. Hillary? Come on. The Clintons have been way too arogant and Bill has not been out there. There was no one to pick who was strong enough. Experience but Barack is change so u add some one with experience which puts pressure on McCain now for who he will pick. The only thing Barack needs to do is look more confident and cut out a little bit of the nuiances, be more specific in policies which he has and he should be fine.

  • Senator Joe Biden for Vice-President?

Senator Joe Biden for Vice-President? How is it that the could be President is LESS politically qualified that his VP? Even though by most accounts, Senator Biden is no stellar Senator, he is in political experience light years ahead of Senator Obama. That does not say much for that team, and even less for the United States of America if this team takes control.

There are some questions to be raised about Senator Biden. Two questions need to be explored. They are:

    • Senator Bidens military experience. He was of age during the draft, the Cold War and the Vietnam War. Since Dan Quayle, the question of a candidate’s military or lack of military experience is now questioned. Or is that only reserved for Republican candidates?

    • Senator Biden is on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs. Now that is bizarre to say the least since Senator Biden is a staunch gun control advocate. We are not talking “sensible” gun control; he is out to disarm law abiding citizens. Truth is the majority of gun violence in America is related to those involved with the sale and use of illegal drugs. So why does not Senator Biden understand that fact? One can only surmise that all the politicians in Washington are given jobs on committees that they have no knowledge, skill and experience in; and worse yet continue to fail to learn the truth.

God bless and God help America if this Democrat circus act enters the Oval Office.
