    To TheStar

You are undoubtedly a Clinton supporter so please explain why it bothers you that Biden supported the bankruptcy bill but doesn't bother you that Clinton did (remember her "I voted for it but hoped it would fail" line from the primaries?); it's possibly a problem that Biden misspoke or took others words but doesn't bother you about Hillary's "misspeaks?" The Bosnian sniper; how she was named after Sir Edumund Hillary before he climbed Mount Everest?

Obama couldn't win no matter who he chose; and some Clinton supporters will never get over losing. But quit pretending any of the politicians are different - the Clintons are now millionaires hundred times over - and it's not from working overtime at Wal Mart - it's from serving on their Board; doing political favors, etc. People complain about Biden being a Washington insider - yet that's what Hillary ran on - 35 years of experience (which turned out to be more like 7). If Obama had chosen a non-Washington person he would have been accused of having a lightweight inexperienced ticket; another woman - it wasn't Hillary; Wesley Clark - dared to question McCain's qualifications. No matter what he does Obama naysayeers will find something wrong - that's politics.

But don't kid yourself that Hillary wouldn't have caused as much harm as she would have helped. The Republicans already have ads using her words against Obama -- and it would have been worse with her as VP. She may have 18 million supporters - but there are 270 or so other Americans who probably don't feel as kind towards her. She gave no more support to her promises than OBama -it's just that you and others liked her better. And that's fine - but quit pretending that that's not the reason you don't support Obama -- and that she's any different than other politicians.
