    I Still Like the Guy

For all the "let's criticize Obama" and "let's worry about Obama" memes being pumped out right now, I still can't help but like the guy. Same goes for Biden. As far as political office-holders go, these are two pretty good people.

Of course you'd never guess it with a framing like "A triumph of experience over hope." Come on Salon, that kind of lazy political cynicism is so 1990s. It’s like watching "The X Files"- full of foreboding, but with an underlying worldview that is nothing short of incoherent paranoia.

As an American abroad, I'm overjoyed to have the opportunity to move the country in a different direction because it is flat clear that this is not just an academic question. America's present position internationally is not as bad as Americans themselves are being led to believe. It is worse. And I am patriotic enough to hope that we expend every effort possible to change that.

    I know I will.
