So I find you solicitation a little strange.
"...go back to your unit and die soldier." - Donah
So you I assume must be with the PUMA suicide bomber brigade.
AKASmith, over the past few months you've made plenty of observation about some of the overzealous Obama supporters.
Point taken.
But just take a moment to look over to the other side of the street, and who do we meet, Donah the Clintonista saying die and become dead meat.
Maybe we can all step back form our stupid spotless of pure piety over who said what and what got said to who during the dust ups that came with the now past primary and push on. Or perhaps not.
But whatever the choice, Donah, do yourself a favor and bury the hatchet with your old adversaries, or for all I fucking care bury a hatchet in your head.
Here's to the future!
Now that Obama has selected Biden, I hope some of the vitriolic rhetoric will die down.
I can't speak for anyone but myself, but Biden is the one choice other than Clinton that could not only influence my decision but have an impact in Pennsylvania.
As I commented on another story, this would be a terrific time for those who support Barack to reach out to those who voted for Hillary with open arms rather than clenched fists.
I'm getting the sense that you can't really be bothered to read other people's posts. Are you here to have some limited form of conversation, or just to tell people how it is?
As I have mentioned before, last year I was watching both Richardson and Biden. I thought Hillary would win and Obama would be crushed. Well, Hillary didn't win and Obama didn't get crushed. Richardson was a big disappointment in the first few debates. Biden had a few of his mouth control moments and never got traction. Biden got his ass handed to him in Iowa as you note. He then went home to the Senate and kept his mouth shut like a good little political soldier. So clearly the calculation to bring Biden on board didn't include the number of people who voted for him.
As far as supporting Hillary goes, I would vote for her myself in a flash. But she doesn't have my exclusive loyality and neither does the democratic party for that matter. And given the number of posts here over the last few months, various websites and petitions and the coverage by the media that lives for drama, you can't say there hasn't been pressure applied on Obama to make Hillary the VP. I said that yielding to that pressure would be capitulation in the eyes of some.
What would you call it when you yield to a group that demands and threatens?
You obama clowns are getting your wish, except it comes with a little price to pay. Now pay it, and stfu.
"See, that's the funny thing. I hardly think he's perfection incarnate so you can drop the strawman. What I saw was Hillary, who was expected to be crowned Queen at the start of the Primaries, who was the insider favorite, who had the war chest and the heavy contacts within the DNC, who was a name brand thanks to her husband, go down in flames from a charismatic rookie. That should show you just how fragile your precious candidate really is.
But alas, I should speak badly of her majesty so off with my head!
As for raising millions she is now in the hole for just that amount and can't seem to get bailed out by her supposedly loyal following of "18 million". Go figure"
What is funny is that as a Democrat I was not expecting you to continue to harbor this resentment against another Democrat. That is definitely a sign of immaturity. During the start of the Democratic primary in 1988, Jesse Jackson was the choice of majority of registered voters. I did not hear anybody say that he expected to be crowned king because of his name recognition, inside connection and all the crap you touted. It is nothing new. What is new is the vehement attack on Hillary. It is not necessary for you to continue to use the primaries to bash another Democrat. That is not what Obama that you claim to support wants.Obama wants party unity and knows that he cannot do it without the other part of Democrats who supported Hillary. Insulting Hillary is not helpful and I believe it is idiotic to do that.
Regardless of what you think Obama does not agree with you that is the reason he gave the Clintons slots at the convention, and may still lean on them to campaign for him and Biden. I hope all of you who claim to support Obama grow up and stop this anti-Hillary nonsense you continue to spew and concentrate on John McCain and his possible choice of running mate that is the person Obama is running against, not Hillary. It is childish to give the Republicans and the media ammunitions of party in-fighting to beat the Democrats with.

And lest I forget, I do not worry about Hillary's debt. Campaigns get saddled with debts all the time and she will be fine. That should be least of your worries in a presidential election the Democrats have advantages but do not seem to get traction from all the arrogant, petulant nonsensical crap coming from people like you.
Try and get the message form Obama; he is a different kind of Democrat, with hope, nonpartisan and can do attitude. Stop this idiocy.
What is funny is that as a Democrat I was not expecting you to continue to harbor this resentment against another Democrat. That is definitely a sign of immaturity.
Ahhh, where did I say I was a Democrat? I've been an independent voter for quite some time now which apparently frees me from being a slave to like and dislike whatever candidate I see fit.
During the start of the Democratic primary in 1988, Jesse Jackson was the choice of majority of registered voters. I did not hear anybody say that he expected to be crowned king because of his name recognition, inside connection and all the crap you touted.
Jessie Jackson was never the favorite to win the nomination in 1988 nor, apart from name recognition, did he fit any of the criteria I stated previously. You need to find a relevant example first.
What is new is the vehement attack on Hillary. It is not necessary for you to continue to use the primaries to bash another Democrat.
Given the amount of vitriol I've heard from the PUMA brigade regarding Obama I find your commentary incredibly ironic.
