"No, the old GOP hate talk against Hillary was that she was the living incarnation of Satan, Stalin, and Hitler and had some hidden death squad knocking off rivals while plotting some grand socialist utopia.
The rest of us realized that she was untrustworty, divisive, phony, etc from actually watching her career over the years. We weren't blinded by Bill Clinton as the great and shining star leaving his wife to fill some great political dynasty. Just because the Right Wing attacked Hillary doesn't mean she automatically qualifies as a Saint, nor does it mean that half the party follows in lock-step with the Clintons.
If anything look beyond the insular world of petty party rivalries to see where the election will really be decided.

"The rest of us" you mean those section of the Democratic party who all of a sudden because of Obama realized that the Senator from New York, the former first lady who senate colleagues hold in high regard, is now "untrustworthy, divisive and phony." Wow, how was she able to pull more than 18 million voters equal to Obama, the rock, perfection incarnated and more than 10 times Biden his obvious choice for V.P?
I have said it over and over again that I hope the VP decision fulfills Obama's wishes and puts him into the white house because, it will be devastating to have the Republicans again in the white house. Now that Hillary has been cast aside for the VP choice, can you guys lay to rest any blame game against Clinton should Obama unfortunately lose? What else can she do? She was gracious in her acceptance speech, she has campaigned more than any of those who campaigned against Obama for the nomination.Can you now cut this "divisive, untrustworthy and phony" Democrat who had raised millions for Democrats and the party some slacks?
The media, the beltway boys have now got their wish, with Biden, as they always do in proposing the Democrats nominee let us see how this pan out.I hope all of you Obama supporters in the interest of party unity tone down this anti-Hillary rhetoric and the idotic arrogance before it is too late. Remember, Hillary supporters are not phony and this crap about them supporting an untrustworthy and phony candidate is sure to inflame passions and can be a long road to the white house.
