    One can look no further than these letters to see the divide in the party. This should make McCain's job even easier.

    How the Dems could allow themselves to be behind in yet another election in which, by nearly all accounts, is their's to lose is beyond me. If Obama does not get in, the Dems need to raze the party to the ground.

    The bottom line is Dems do not know how to campaign for president anymore. I am no Clinton supporter but wonder if even she, even as a polarizing figure, would not have been more aggressive before now.

    Sad....pathetic even.

    BTW the announcement of Obama's running mate is likely to be an anti-climatic moment...unless he picks Hagel.

    At this point I'd rather be in a bunker with Bob Barr than in the Thunderdome with McCain and Dennis Miller.
