    Seperation of Church & State??

For all Deeply knows Pastor Rick Warren may be a decent fellow. He may bright as a tin plate in the sun. But what are we doing having a forum at a church with the unlikely name Saddle Back where our presidential candidates grovel, proselytize, and reason before Jesus and a fat oaf with a best selling self help book, and a fondness for Hawaiian shirts? Do we really need evidence that either of our future possible presidents are besotted with holy water and lunatics for Christ. It is not comforting.

We just spent eight years with one idiot who talks to God and look where that got us. Apparently God loves Exon and War. Have these men looked at the vast universe and the itty bitty earth? At best the Big Planner is busy somewhere else (or as Woody Allen says an underachiever) assuming he even exists in the anthropomorphic form our future Presidents seem to think he does.

I know, let's be cynics... If you want to be president you must suck up to Jesus. And certainly in McCain's case he probably has been talking to Jesus for some time now.. he seems crazy enough. But Obama. I don't believe it! And do we really want a President full of Hope who will do anything including exposing his faith, like his dirty underwear, to the world. I don't think so. Religion should be private like that crazy aunt no one talks about, who howls upstairs, locked in the attic.
