Seriously, I think Salon's low class tactic is to make us all feel morally, ethically and intellectually superior to them, thus increasing the number of hits by improving the self-esteem of all of us who have a sense of smell.
if I read a couple of more articles like that, surely I shall be able to walk upon the waters, heal the lame, restore sight to the blind, raise the dead, and ascend to the heavens in a glowing nimbus.
