Dreadnoughts Resting on the Bottom of the Bay

Just as the Japanese aircraft carriers that brought attack planes to Pearl Harbor made the battleships resting at anchor there instant relics that were more liability than effective weapons, so should have the near-instant access to information we now enjoy, made the old iron-sides tactics of telling lies and spreading rumors, that are still used by our Republican friends today, long obsolete. The sixteen-inch guns of sinking conservative tubs captained by Camadore Rove and Admiral McCain do still squirt a few last hideous volleys into the night sky. So it is that I cannot express my shame and embarrassment when I see John McCain reading another two-fisted message from his note cards, this man a candidate for the presidency, who is unable, apparently, to remember even a few simple thoughts in any coherent order, all the while wearing his "Navy" ballcap. McCain's problem is not a problem of internet savy. It is clearly an inability to learn, to retain information, and to think.
