The only way we can limit morons in American life is to make sure that their mothers take their birth control pills. There is no way to make birth control retroactive -- at least legally. Nor can we prevent them from voting if they are able to hide their illiteracy enough to sign their names.
The fact that some of them can amass just enough brute intellect to think they know something is unfortunate. The fact that a person with the mind of a five-year old can get on the internet and pretend that he or she is a grownup boggles the mind. Nonetheless it happens.
I frankly don't give a hoot about Obama's religion but I do care about his positions. Mike Bloomberg has had some good things to say about Obama and has attempted to quash some of the rumors because they are not about Obama's religion at bottom. They are about his race. The Muslim thing is a code for saying "Psst, he's a n****" and there is nothing anyone can do about that.
Politicians are all liers including SAINTLY OBAMA.His fighting the smears and rumours website will not change the facts.Now he is apologising to the two muslim women. His campaign staffs also stopped a muslim woman from sitting behind Obama in their fights to hide his muslim religion and continues to run from the truth. Obama did not wake up one day and decided he wants to run for the senate and the presidency, he planned it, he knows what he will be faced with. His 20yrs with Rev Wright is to be accepted by the Africa Americans, so he can play the race game, hide his muslim religion, gets the blacks votes. what he did not consider was the fact that he will not fool all Americans. A future president with a CHANGE will not spent 20yrs in a church that preached racism, against his country, and will only stop thanks to the media. His supporters does's care about knowing the true Obama, but America matters mostly. It is for the best that we know both his good and past records.
I could be over there with the 40 million Americans who claim Irish descent. I don't think I called anyone stupid but I'm a hick who tries to keep herself informed about what's happening in the world. What's more, I've never been into adulation, least of all misty-eyed reverence for any politician. Sensitive souls don't get involved in politics, where the ability to trample on the competition is paramount and the ability to mislead is vital. The quotation on the headstone of the poet, W.B. Yeats is apposite: "Cast a cold eye, on life, on death. Horseman, pass by!".
Although I say it myself, I'm almost perfect (but not as perfect as Barack Obama, of course). I acknowledge, however, that I have the flaw of being opinionated and headstrong, making my own mind up, depending on the evidence and what might be called instinct.

Why is it that some things bore folks very soon, and others remain in mind and awareness forever? There has been abundant rebuttal rebuttal of the lies, misinterpretations and racist hogwash about Obama, his religion, his thoughts, beliefs and plans. People who says they don't know enough about him seem to know everything about Cindy, Idol,the Simpsons, and every "celeb" in the nation.
Americans who want to remember lies and propaganda will do so until Hell freezes. Forget the Neanderthals and search for "intelligent life" elsewhere. If there is any.

I recommend Tim Wise's (White Like Me) latest essay to white women who prefer to vote for McCain or "stay home" rather than vote for Obama. His essay is a masterpiece, as usual.
We have a few, excellent, informed thinkers around. I agree with your editor's choice, Give them enough "air-time." Wise's piece is not only for white women. Their counterparts, "white males," need a snoot-full of reality, as well.
But how will you 'deflate' the 'TRUEISMS' that OBAMA is merely a 'DOOFUS KNOW-NOTHING' and beholden to the worst elements in this country namely the 'CONVICTED FELON GEORGE SOROS' and the 'Convicted Murderer/Terrorist' BILL AYERS and as his own books/writings have gushed "...enthralled with MARXIST professors...and BLACK radicals..."??? Add this to his various malapropisms/mistakes i.e. that the 'UNITED STATES has 57 states' and that his name BARACK "...is somehow incredibly derived from the Hebrew 'Baruch'...or the best OBAMAISM yet he has to accept private financing "...so he won't be 'SWIFTBOATED' like JOHN'the-Fraud'KERRY was..."??? WHAT??? TRUTH IS NOT DEFEATED BY PUBLICITY - UNLESS YOU ARE IN THE GERMANY OF THE 1930'S!!! ZIEG HIEL MEIN SCHWATZE-FUHRER OBAMA!!!
My posting of The Muslim Tradition is not to help Obama, his supporters or those refusing to know the truth. Human rights, Civil Rights and freedom of speech is for all Americans. I have the rihgts to my opinions and you have the right to believe what you wants to believe. Avoiding Obama's issues and sending attacts to who dare say the obvious will not help Obama or the democratic party. The muslim religion is not only for blacks. The strenght of the muslims in their practice varies depending ont their country of origin, enviroments in cluding schools, friends, jobs, personal interests etc. Obama will flip flops on issues that goes against his muslim beliefs, after gets what he wants [first black president] just for one term, you will know his real religion by the way he will handle Iran, Irag, gay issues, abortion, sexism, most human rights that the muslims are against. The media needs to help by showing Obama in Rev wright's church services.
Why were we all so delighted when Hellary "suspended" her campaign and Obama, our hope for the future, became the presumptive nominee, and now the media is blasting him with negative publicity? Suddenly he is Black. He is a Muslim. He keeps changing his mind. He won't get Hellary'a loser voter base.
We need to win this election. We can't survive four more years of Bush, Jr. in the White House. How about supporting Obama instead of trying to destroy him. Let's show some party unity.
