Barack Obama's epic win

The young senator makes history not only in terms of race, while a determined Hillary Clinton delays the inevitable a bit longer.

The letters thread is now closed.

paranoia

I did not check out the URL directed at you, but I urge you not to bother with that either - I shudder to think what may be at the other end of that link.

my gosh, you people are hysterical. LOL..

It's a link of the same black man who shows how loonies Obama's followers are. You people can't reason and the longer I am here the more I am shown how true that is.

Paranoia and stupidity know no limit.

indo, I'm shaking my head at you, virtually.

Your a nut. I saw michelle malkin going off on aisans. Does that mean your idol is anti-asian, being one herself.

You republcains are a sad breed. At least we only have to care about what you backward weirdo's think for another few months. Then back in the basement you go for 30 years. Wher eyou belong. :)

And the Award for Hypocrisy goes to...

Indigo!

"I am anti sweeping generalization devoid of any common sense that people like you represent." - You've been doing this all day.

BTW, what does the RNC pay someone to sit around and post junk on blogs all day?

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 03:51 PM

Right again

Ricardo -

You're right to advise TRennee that indigo is not worthy of engagement.

It's like playing tennis with a wood-chipper. It's entertaining to watch your first few lobs get shredded and distorted in a fury of sound, but it quickly becomes boring and one longs for an actual volley.

I've got a short list of posters I don't respond to, but this is one of the rare occasions I plan on ignoring someone all together.

"aisan", "republcain", whatever....

rufus you are an embarrassment to all americans.

We have typos every now and then but at least we try to be readable.

You need to go back to grade school, seriously.

two thumbs down for this site

there was a day when I would have went toe to toe with indo here and ripped her up for all yoru amusment. At this point, what's the point?

I'm going to listen to my candidate and respect his wishes. I have spent many hours marginaliing and pointing out republcain fascist propogandist sabotuers. At this point they are cartoon characters. Why waste our time?

Peace out salon readers. Hopefully you get a new editor and rights this wayward ship.

Go through my archieves indo. I will rip you to shreds and destroy all your weak bogus propogandist argeuemtns from the past. not only can you not win. you already lost. Look through the archieves and save everyoen else their time.

Peace out. Don;t hate the gop. They are a joke. they are done. spend your time trying to bring them back to reality. One step at a time. baby steps. theya re children. they should be talked to and treated like children. Until/unless they grow-up and act like adults.

"Clinton 'to Concede on Friday'... "

I think she's taking the vp nod from mccain

@organicas

You said, "2) Hillary Clinton has 'torn the face off' Obama, as Gwen Ifill so aptly and graphically put it weeks ago, over and over again. She has not shown him respect, indeed has disrespected him over and over again (we all the know the list of ways)."

Gwen Ifill is a hack...her Washington Weekly show on PBS is a freakin joke. She took some of the losers from the failed Wall Street weakly show and pretends to have discussion. It is as scripted as a bad sitcom.

Obamafolks, Enjoy Your Epic Win Now!

Enjoy the moment, Obamafolks, since it's the last good news you're gonna get. The real problem with your candidate, aside from his radical and squirrelly associations, is his total lack of experience. If he has any idea at all how to approach issues like rising gas and food prices, the housing mess, Iraq and Iran, whatever, it's a mystery to me. I don't think he has the slightest idea. We are supposed to think that his superior ability to bring people together is going to give us great (but totally unspecified) results. Give me a break.

I've voted Democratic my entire life, but I don't know if I will vote for Obama. I'm not saying I won't, just that I might not. Why? He simply appears not to be up to the job.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 04:00 PM

you started it

I have been called racist more than I can remember simply for voicing my opinion why Obama is unelectable.

You attack me for having an opinion that you don't like about obama.

I didn't start calling you all sexist for not liking Hillary.

You guys never really engaged us on issues, only name-callings and you wonder why people think many of you loonies. Not all of you but MOST of you. Sad but true. It's anywhere, you can't talk to Obamabots without being insulted.

I never attacked anyone who has reasonable opinion on issues. You started it so deal with the hatred you garner.

Karma sucks, folks.

@organicus...great post..Chris Rock beat you to the punch.

"-- How can anybody not think, if she becomes Vice-President, she would not be wishing and hoping for her president's death? -- Anybody who would go as far as she has, I think, could do anything."

Chris Rock had a great joke about this...no white president is ever gonna have a black VP because too many "brothers" would be willing to do the time.

I saw Barack and Hillary singing from the same hymn-sheet tonight (BBC Newsnight l0:30 p.m)

It was at an AIPAB (or something like that) get-together. It was about Israel and both were trying to out-do each other in volume. It was not mellifluous but Barack's timbre was even more powerful as he warned Iran and spoke about an undivided Jerusalem. Well, the fact that both are now in tune on the Middle East is some kind of wonderful, as they say. Love is in the air, no doubt about it, and I don't understand why you can't see that. That ancient Greek (can't remember his name just now but it could have been Diogenes) who went around wearing a wooden tub, with ropes holding it up to preserve his modesty I'd suggest, was spot on. He also carried a candle in broad daylight in Athens as he searched for one honest man - it would have had to be a man in those ancient times 'cos I don't think women had yet arrived on the scene to start all their fussing and fighting. Anyway, that ancient Greek couldn't find one honest person in Athens (also ancient, of course) and, if he'd been able to listen to all this talk about Israel and Iran today, the poor old fella would, most likely, have set his

tub on fire.

Just a thought.
