Barack Obama's epic win

The young senator makes history not only in terms of race, while a determined Hillary Clinton delays the inevitable a bit longer.

debaser another stupid kool-aid drinker

I started liking Obama very much. Now I see him as UNFIT period. That doesn't mean I'm republican, but you know what since I'm not affiliated to any party as a non-citizen PR, another 4 year of republican president is actually not that bad if the alternative is electing an non-credible, inexperienced, untested, unknown member of a black liberation church whose wife is so angry and bitter and anti-american, who hasn't had any believable track record as a public servant and whose associations are people of dubious characters.

And I know most of Americans feel the same way. We will survive without a weak dem candidate. I know I will.

And besides the party has turned its back on its constituents; they have forced this inadequate, unelectable affirmative-action candidate down their throats from day one by betraying the very couple who have contributed and worked so hard for the party and have given them 2-term of successful democratic president. Please tell the, what reason is there for them to remain loyal?

@Steve1us

Did you listen to Clinton's speech last night? Or her words praising Obama over the last few weeks? Or the many times she has said that he would be a good candidate? If so, then how can you say that she hasn't acknowledged him. What she hasn't done is concede that she has to drop out now, before ANY of the votes are officially counted at the convention. She has refused to shortcut the process and just let him have the nomination, which is what he has been demanding for over a month.

Did you listen to Obama talking about how hateful Clinton was, throwing "Everything but the kitchen sink" at him, saying she was a liar, emotionally unbalanced, and a dirty campaigner? She dared to suggest that she would be a better candidate and a better President, so he attacked her as insulting him. Did you even see him "Mocking" Clinton? Good grief - does listening to Obama cause mass amnesia?

If Obama carried half the vote and Clinton won, you can bet that he'd be looking for concessions, and possibly a VP slot. He's just as much a politician as Clinton. Maybe more so. She got 50% of the vote. That is very, very significant. Your guy won with either a scant majority of votes or fewer votes, depending on how you count it. You can talk all day about the delegates, but, numerically, they will account for virtually none of the electoral votes in November, while Clintons supporter's will count for at least a quarter of the votes. You can convince them to vote for your guy and win, or you can let Obama hope that Republicans decide to vote for him over McCain and get the worst trouncing since Mondale.

Does little indigo have the racist blues? Is little indigo green with envy? Is little indigo seeing red? Has little indigo's better nature gone yellow?

Orange you glad little indigo is so bigot, er, I mean so big-hearted? I am tickled pink by little indigo's love for humanity.

Every other candidate...

You wrote:

Every other presidential dreamer in her position had taken the fight to the convention (Ronald Reagan in 1976, Ted Kennedy in 1980, Gary Hart in 1984), but she has been demonized for hanging on until the first Tuesday in June.

In 1976, the Republicans lost.

In 1980, the Democrats lost.

In 1984, the Democrats lost again!

Do you think it possible to credit Democrats with the idea that they actually might want to win for once?

What Obama Supporters Have Taught Me

They have taught me that the Democratic Party is nearly identical to the Republican Party. Both will trash, stomp, insult, and belittle anyone who doesn't fit with them ideologically, no matter what they have done for America. It's all about political ends.

I was horrified when the pukes were wearing band-aids with purple hearts on them to belittle the military accomplishments of John Kerry. I was disgusted when they tried to make Max Clealand out to be a traitor (the man lost three limbs in Vietnam for goodness' sake!) I thought my Party was opposite of them - caring, careful, considerate of the feelings and accomplishments of their fellow Americans.

Boy was I deluded.

Now I don't know where I belong politically. It's surely not with the Republicans (I'd rather put salt in my eye than vote for , but it doesn't feel like it's with the Dems anymore either. I think I've been born-again Independent.

you see.

If no one is here to counter the gop propgoandists, then what? somebody's got to do it. they will not stand down even if we do.

why? Because these are republcains posing as demcorats trying to sabotage the opposition. In a perfect world the clinton backers would fight them back themselves. this is nto a perfect world. they take their arguements and side with the gop. But I can't call you republcains? If clinton backers weren't republcains they would fight back these fascist gop propogandists themselves, rather than allowing them to speak for them.

But it's funny, and sad. The gop is done, clinton included. they are done for 30 years. Where else do you get rewarded the worse you do? hahhahaha

the gop is done. Fear them not. they are cowards reduced to shilling for hillary and sabotaging their country. the gop propgoandists are traiors confederate party loyalists. The traitors are done. no amount of sabotage or treason will save them this time.

If we obama supporters stand down, who's going to fight for the democratic party, agaisnt the gop sabotage? who's going to fight for obama if we don't? Or america? We know the gop only cares about money and power. We have seen they hate america, democracy and freedom. Who will fight the traitors?

Obama tells me to stand down and stop the fight. As you can see from this blog I (and those like)can do that. But it will solve nothing. The democratic old schollers have zero backbone. they are unable to even see the sabotuers, much less combat them. But this is the time we live in. Obama thinks if I (or those like me) stand down it will stop. We did not start this verbal war. We are just defending america. But so be it. Let's see what happens. I hope you whining clinton supporters now see, it's not obama supporters that is the problem. It's the gop, many of whom are claiming to support clinton to sabotage. I expect you clitnonn backers to fight back the gop if you don't want me to. :)

Peace. Carry on fascsit propogandist gop. Enjoy your irrelevance traitor cowards. you sure earned it.
