    an earnest question

    What did Clinton mean when she said that her supporters deserve respect?

    Was she talking to Obama directly, implying something about vigorous campaigning to her demographics?

    Was she talking about Obama's rhetoric?

    Was she talking to his supporters?

    I found it a little cryptic.

    As an Obama supporter who believes in rendering respect where it is due, what am I supposed to make of her appeal?

    Anyone?
