I have been a strong proponent of Hillary Clinton from the very beginning, and it looks like super delegate momentum is now going the other way ---- today. I refer to “momentum” because these super delegate commitments are only valid for the moment they are given. They can always be changed between now and the convention in late August.
However, I would float this with all fellow Americans ---- if Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton would agree --- and of course if Mr. Obama were to invite Hillary Clinton to be a running mate as the Vice President, and ask her to take on some important responsibilities in a new administration, that might work in my mind.
The November election will be extremely difficult, yet I feel we (the Democratic Party) have a chance to win if a team could be put together that would involve a new administration on January 20th 2009 of both Obama and Clinton.
I believe that for the sake of the American people, both candidates could work things out ---- and make one team ---- and one administration.
To have John McCain win is absolute scary, and would be terribly wrong for our country.
