Yeah. I check in on sites like that and Taylor Marsh just to see how vile the hatred for Senator Obama can become.
NoQuarterUSA.net recently had death threats against Senator Obama so serious, and apparently disturbing, that the Secret Service has had to step in and investigate.
Here's the warning from that Johnson himself:
"This does NOT apply to 99% of you, however, a couple of lost souls have posted threats against Barack Obama on this blog. Be forewarned, I will turn all threats over to the Secret Service (they are investigating two at this moment). While I don’t believe Barack is qualified to be President, nothing justifies or warrants a death threat. Please play nice."
As for these so-called "Michelle Whitey tapes" or "Michellegate" or "Whiteygate" or whatever the lowest of you hateful, vile, racist Clinton trolls have resulted to calling it I have only one thing to say: It hasn't happened. Period. It is currently 9:43 a.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time.) I will be awake. If these tapes are not up and posted by midnight (which my guess is they won't be since they don't ACTUALLY EXIST) I'm going to return here and remind some of you of it.
Even Geraldo Rivera himself, the worst of the right wing trolls, admitted he doubted if these tapes actually existed and he said if they had someone would have used them by now.
Where are Clinton's voters going to go in November? If Obama supporters keep on trashing her, her voters will either stay at home or vote for McCain. The focus now should be on making sure that Clinton supporters vote Democratic in the fall. And that won't happen if she keeps on getting ridiculed and badmouthed by Obama Democrats.
Get cat AIDS.
You clown.
i appreciate your defending shawn's right to post, idiotic as they are. i caught holy hell here a few months back for defending david sugarman's right post. keep it up!
Dick...
You make some excellent points about how and why Barack should reach out to the Hispanic community. It does make sense.
However, among the many fine points you made in your post, I believe that one simple fact was missing: blacks and Hispanics are competitors for many of the same unskilled, blue-collar jobs. Blacks complain (rightly) that many jobs that would otherwise would be theirs, are taken by undocumented, mostly-Hispanic workers who will do any job for fewer dollars. Hispanics counter (rightly) that many jobs go unfilled because some blacks simply will not do them, for whatever reason.
Therefore, we have a conundrum: two groups are competing against each other for jobs but need to work together for a common good but are not on the same page.
Just wanted to add this dynamic to your otherwise excellent post.
PR residents don't even vote in the general. Why PR or Guam are included in the primaries is one of those really idiotic facts no one can give and an intelligent answer to because none exists. Obama didn't even bother to show up in PR. The Clinton campaign had been talking about 1.2 million voter showing up to votes in PR, of which they were going to get at least 800,000 and overtake Obama in the popular vote. less than one third of that number showed up. The Clinton family had practically camped up in PR. The Clintons are now on the grotesque phase. On Tuesday night, the SD must do the right thing and put them out of their misery, just like you would a dying dog in great pain.
Obama Nation can try all they want to "unify" the party. It will not work. Their New Liberal Fascist tactics this primary season have revealed them for what they are. We know by now that if Obama wins, they will use the same tactics to railroad their Hard Left policies through the coming Democrat-majority Senate and House. Obama will became the New Ceasar of this country. It will be the real Bush III regime -- but from the Hard Left instead of the Hard Right.
All true democrats should oppose this.
Just Say No to Obama Nation.
Your quotation from Larry Johnson shows he doesn't tolerate hating, disproving your point.
He - like most who run websites that allow comments - is at the mercy of the public who post comments. He can try to moderate and delete those that are out of bounds, but he cannot control the visiting public completely.
Your tarring the entire site due to some intemperate and hateful comments would be like someone pointing to sexist or racist comments here at Salon or Huffington Post as a reason to discount Salon's or Huffington Post's content.
Note that the post at No Quarter specifically says the Republicans who have the tape are trying to save it until October. So your whole "if it isn't worldwide by tonight" premise is faulty.
I remind you that rumors of the Reverend Wright tapes swirled around the internet for months before they surfaced.
Larry Johnson has a track record of being right about his sources. The Plame scandal is a great example.
Don't let commitment to your candidate blind you to what could be the worst kind of political poison this November.
We're done. You had your chance to stand up and be a tough guy in many exchanges we've had. But you run and hide every time, never offering up anything of substance. So why should I bother? Goodbye.
And when, after 4 hours of posting for McCain, you get your $20 check - be sure to get tha vaccine for Feline HIV. Because I hope you do get Cat AIDS.
Clown.
I'm wondering how much this trip(s) to Puerto Rico cost? Part of what has eroded Clinton's support is the growing understanding of her poor primary campaign management. This wasteful, symbolic series of trips is supposed to counter that?
Since they, the Clinton's, have been the loudest proponents of a '50-State' strategy I think it is certainly inbounds to recall the reckless, wasteful spending(4-Star Hotels in Vegas for all the staffers, stratospheric consultant fees) along the trail, especially early on when they thought they were just doing a victory lap, disguised as campaigning.
The self-loans began early on. The political insider disdain for caucuses(as a Colorado caucus voter I am confused by my invisible status) coupled with a daily shift in 'message' on the part of her team conveyed a certain rudderless-incompetence.
It doesn't really convey the the aura of disciplined forward-thinking, fiscal stewardship that we are asking of our next President.
So, is the Obama campaign going to be asked, as a gesture of goodwill and unity, to help settle her debts?
I ask once again, how much did Puerto Rico cost? What was the return on investment? Bragging rights? Is this what this final run-up to the nomination has been reduced to?
If this stuff was on a CEO resume---do you think she would get the job?
Oh wait....I forgot...this is America...lousy bosses often get rewarded. Perhaps if things don't pan out---she can run Countrywide.
