Viva Hillary Clinton!

Although she won Puerto Rico easily, Clinton seemed to be campaigning in an alternate reality, as hopes for the nomination slipped away.

    Oh-bama!

Well couldn't say it any better than Mickey Kovars. After following both these candidates closely throughout the campaign, and as a lifelong liberal Democrat, I frankly can't for the life of me think of one good reason to support Obama over Hillary.

She is infinitely more thoughtful, policy-focused, experienced and ready and highly capable of assuming the Presidency. I remain astounded at the wide-eyed, dazzled encomiums used by Obama supporters, who invariably can't tell you even 1 specific policy or idea of his they are familiar with--just "change", followed by "hope", and then more "change"!

And now that his campaign seems to have lost significant momentum in the face of very damaging additional revelations about his associates and history, I hardly think it's time for Hillary to step down. Actually I think it might be best for Obama to reconsider his whole candidacy, and whether it wouldn't be better for all concerned for him to back Hillary (thereby virtually guaranteeing a Dem in the White House), and then have 4-8 years to get some badly needed experience, and also purge himself from the embarrassing baggage of his past like

Wright, Ayres, Samantha Power, Robert Malley, etc. etc.

Does anyone in their right mind really think this guy is qualified and ready at this point to assume what's arguably the world's most powerful position?
