Barack Obama Is The Candidate We Need

We need a smart and strong person to lead our nation. The problems we face are complex and require commitment. We will need friends at home and abroad.

Someone has questioned Obama's religion. The goal of religion is "kind heart". Therefore, Barack Obama has become religious from his 46 years of living among a variety of people and through his choices has developed a kind heart.

But Obama is a fighter too. He believes in a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people." He will greatly diminish the influence of lobbyists because of this preference for the people. For Barack Obama is one of them. He is not a 'silver spoon' man like our current president. He is the product of a home hit by early divorce. Yet great love from his mother and grand-parents, though poor, pointed the way. He had choices to make and sometimes he made the wrong ones. But he righted himself and continued on. His story is one common to all cultures and worlds.

We are the sum total of our choices in life. And happily, the Democrats have chosen Barack Obama, a uniter of people everywhere.
