so, Obama ran the filthiest campaign in recent history. Please give specific examples- not media regurgitation on rev. wright. what he and his campaign did. we'll wait. watch out for those bosnian snipers, and a round of applause, please, for those hard working white people. tool.

Specifics, please, or STFU
It seems that new trolls have sprung up to replace the old (who must be busy spewing their hate on other sites right about now). But prey tell: How has Obama run a "race-mongering" (sic) campaign? How has he run the "filthiest" campaign in memory? How, EXACTLY? In what way is he without integrity? On what basis do you say he is going to destroy our country? EXAMPLES, PEOPLE!
But you don't have any examples, do you, because you are either certifiable or right-wing operatives. Hillary has run a much dirtier campaign, and as saintzak points out by including a link to Bill's latest divisive, down-home pandering, she is the one who has demonstrated a lack of principle.
The truth is, there is very little difference between Obama's policies and proposals and Hillary's. There is certainly not enough to warrant the sort of invective and character-assassination you people engage in on this board.

New math?
Even if MI & Fl were counted Hillary would still be behind in popular votes. I doubt very much she is going to win WV by 70% The only state she has won by 70% was AK and that was early in the game. Hillary did not even win NY by 70%. On the other hand Obama has won many states by 65%. Hillary's claim in Big state wins is bogus as they were all under double digits when all the final votes were counted: CA 8.3%, TX 1%(primary) TX Caucus (Obmama), PA 9%, OH 8-9%.Besides Obama won in high population districts in all races, thus giving him a pledged delegate lead.
There are enough educated voters in WV to put Obama in close range of Hillary. Even if she won WV by 60%. She cannot catch up. There re only 28 delegates in play in WV. However in OR there are 51 delegates. He will win OR, MT, SD. It will be close in Kentucky, like it was in IN.
Hopefully she will drop out gracefully in June if not on May 20.
Besides as of this morning he only needs 155 total delegates to secure the nomination.

And @5designers5 -- where is all that support for science?
Clinton promised to be guided by science when it comes to medical marijuana.
I respect that sentiment enormously because the science of the cannabinoid system truly is revolutionary and fascinating.
BUT it looks like many Clinton supports don't really believe in what she said.
Because if you really believed that medical marijuana policy should be guided by science, then you'd never think of voting for McCain.
To McCain, there is no science. There is only federal power, and federal power is always right when it comes to drugs.
So now we see all the pretenses drop!!!
You don't believe in science, and you don't believe science should have anything to do with federal policy on medical marijuana.
That is your position, if you vote for McCain.
If you're that anti-science, then maybe you should stop claiming you ever WERE a Democrat and just go join your own side and be done with it.

Fester, re: "housecleaning"
Yes! And yes also to the need for opposing (or complimentary? balancing?) politicatl forces? This is why I've hung in where I have -- at least in part -- through this dark night of the Republican soul.
I agree, too, that there needs to be a great deal of housecleaning on both sides of the aisle. I believe and sincerely hope that this long, strange and wonderful campaign may be the opening to the Democratic party rediscovering itself after the Long Snooze.

First, how was the perch and chardonnay on Saturday?
Very nice, as usual. Do come next time.
Second, yes, Sen. Clinton will concede graciously and she will support Sen. Obama
She will if she's a loyal Democrat and not a closet neoconservative. But if she's not, or if she is, then she won't.
I NEVER in a million years would have thought 2000 and 2004 would have given us eight years of Bush 43.
Neoconservatives are very good at divisive politics. It's one of the ways you can tell they're neoconservatives. It's how they win. And if they win this time, that's how they'll do it.

@Baby_Boomerang
I think she likes me.
Seriously, great post. I had been wondering, also, where Bill had been hiding those slaves. Perhaps what we're seeing is an "escaped slave" backlash now?

Sont des mots qui ne vont pas très bien ensemble
Hillary Clinton entered this "death with dignity" phase, the one in which it's clear that she can't win, it's clear to her, it's even clear to Tim Russert for Pete's sake, saying that "hard-working Americans, white people" won't vote for Obama, just before a primary in a state where interviews show that lots of people still think he's a Muslim and hates America.
In the case of Hilllary Clinton, dignity is a train that left long ago.

i too miss dear molly ivins; and would love to hear what she would have had to say about this campaign. the phrase "deal-with-dignity" seems like an oxymoron to me when it comes to the clintons.

HILLARY SUPPORTERS DON'T GET IT-- SHE'S A FRAUD !!!!
You have got to be kidding! She has no dignity. That is obvious from the many times she has been humiliated by her sort of husband and the phony, race baiting, dishonest campaign she has been running. The next action is to get her out of the Senate.
IT IS A BEAUTIFUL THING TO WATCH HER AND HER CAMPAIGN MPLODING !!!!
Remember FILEGATE, WHITE WATER, TRAVELGATE, HOG FUTURES BONANZA, STEALING VINCE FOSTER'S PAPERS BEFORE SHE LET THE POLICE INTO HIS OFFICE, HIRING PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS TO DISCREDIT THE WOMEN BILL ABUSED AND RAPED (JUANJTA BRODDERICK) , STEALING OVER $30, 000.00 WORTH OF FURNISHINGS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE THAT SHE HAD TO RETURN. THE WOMAN IS DISHONEST, DISINGENUOUS AND UNFIT TO SERVE IN PUBLIC OFFICE. LASTLY IF HER NAME WASN'T CLINTON SHE WOULD BE NO WHERE IN SIGHT AND THAT WOULD BE EXCELLENT FOR THE COUNTRY.
GO OBAMA 08
GO OBM
