Hillary enters death-with-dignity phase

If she hasn't already quit, it's hard to envision Clinton continuing her unwinnable -- even with Florida and Michigan -- battle beyond June 4.

    I'm an independent

and I DO care about SCOTUS appointments.

I also care MOST OF ALL that we reintroduce control of the government's policies into the hands of the American people. I really like to believe that WE THE PEOPLE thing. I care that we can become a credible member of the world community instead of a relic in an ever-evolving world. I do care that we not become the next third world nation. I care deeply about ending this stupid war. I want to try some other options for slowing terrorism and constitutional ways of keeping us safe at home. I care about getting off foreign oil and making sure our sources of energy are clean and renewable. I like nuclear and clean coal and solar and wind power. I wish there were more desalination plants in the US. I'd like to see Americans building these vital infrastructure necessities. I care about making sure people have health care, like the rest of the countries in the "civilized world" so don't have to worry about dying from some stupid preventable illness. I care about the disparity in education between American kids and China's and India's kids (and many other nations in the world who kids at least speak more than one language!). But I'm not a complete bleeding heart. If we had my way, i;d establish a colony offshore for murderers and rapists and child molesters and anyone else who can't live in a civilized society. Probably for life. And I wouldn't abolish the death penalty.

I'm an independent. I'm complex and that's what I care about.
