FDR and Kennedy shouted change too -- but you choose to cite one example of some guy who was an obviously bumbling fool at the outset, who promised change (and delivered, too, catstrophically) and then draw the conclusion that Obama, a different person from Bush in every possible way, will crash and burn just as Dubya has (when in fact it would be almost impossible to duplicate his failure, although I'm sure Mad John would give him a good run at it).
So what's your point, really?
Oh, by the way, although I, for one, have never tried to give PTG "advise" (sic), although I have tried a time too many to engage her in discussion. Even so, and if that's what you mean by "advise" (sic) then I, for one, am over 60, am currently disabled and on a fixed income, and have almost eliminated all my debt. College is but a distant and annoying memory for me. I do have a daughter about to come out of grad school however, financially flush, and a rabid Obama supporter. So much for stereotyping everyone with the same broad, sloppy brush.
I know, you weren't talking to me. It doesn't seem to matter here. This is no longer a place for intelligent and civil public discourse. But you know that. You were, after all, addressing one of the least civil people ever to post here.
OK, carry on.
