Hillary enters death-with-dignity phase

If she hasn't already quit, it's hard to envision Clinton continuing her unwinnable -- even with Florida and Michigan -- battle beyond June 4.

    KateTex

I was pretty infuriated by Calgadot's post. I thought about responding, but then what good would it do? So I have to ask, why did you respond to him/her?

Also, if you read my posts, you know I didn't vote for Obama in the primary. I also think he faces an uphill battle in the general (see the LA Times yesterday for a great article about this). But, with the prospect of McCain appointing Scalia- and Alito-like justices, I just can't see why anyone who understands the danger of more Scalias would vote against Obama in the general.

I know you are an Independent, but seriously: Isn't the Supreme Court important enough to vote for Obama even if you're not crazy about him? I've done this several times in my life (e.g., Kerry, Dukakis). Really, it's not that hard when you consider the greater good.

    Cheers.
