Walter, Death, sure. Dignity?, not hardly! Listening to Obama's classy recognition of Clinton's "win" in Indiana, and then trying to inspire Party unity, was a far, far cry from the railing and whining of the as-yet-untamed shrew. It would have been nice if some of Bill's ability to use gentle humor (at least, back when he wasn't busily destroying his legacy to help push the little lady along)had been adopted by Hillary and her flacks. But the "I can still win because something bad will show up and hurt my opponent" deserves heaping doses of contempt. How folks run campaigns isn't the worst way to judge how they might act in the "real" job: it surely proved true with the current Administration. It disqualifies her from having a place -- even second place -- on the Democratic ticket. Let's let her use her "capital" (as W thought) as a junior Senator.
