Are you willing to let a President McCain appoint the "strict constructionist" judges he just promised the far right he will appoint, keeping in mind that Justice Stevens is 87 and Justice Ginsberg is a cancer survivor? Because Justice Scalia, one of those "strict constructionists" just said that torture isn't "cruel and unusual punishment" forbidden by the constitution because torture isn't "punishment." Which means, you, SkylarDexter, could be tortured if you are suspected of a crime, even if you are innocent.

And I don't know what your views are on abortion, but if you are pro-choice, the Court is one vote away from overturning Roe v. Wade, too.

Look, I think McCain is a decent man, but while he may be moderate in his approach, he is far to the right on the issues, and is moving even farther to the right to placate the ultra-conservatives.
