this "obamabot" working-class white woman at the edge of the clinton age-demographic couldn't agree with either of you more (some pages back). yes, we can. yes, we should! yes, we will.
thank you both for your eloquence at opening conceivable windows into my AA friends' & neighbors' souls & feelings. i hadn't quite seen it that way before, and it makes me deeply deeply sad & even angry.
It's how I've felt my whole life. I have to bend over backwards to contain my anger, lest I scare people and in the process discredit myself in their eyes.
A tall order indeed for a black man to be both fiery and sufficiently neutred.
