Obama takes North Carolina and only barely loses Indiana, narrowing Hillary's hopes to the 366 phantom delegates from Michigan and Florida.

In the general, Barack Obama will get 90% of African-American votes nationally. Any candiate getting 90% of ANY group is truly remarkable.

The Democratic candidates have always gotten 90% of the black vote. That's why we would win urban areas and they win suburbs.

But it's not enough. Particularly won't make a hell's bit of difference in solidly Republican states like the Carolina's, Georgia and other places where the blacks have their biggest numbers. There's lots of blacks; but there's still more religious rightwing and now growing hispanics.

If he can continue to deliver virtually all of a huge group like African-Americans, he could pull it out with that group and the lefty-left bullseye of educated, liberal urban whites and students.

Sorry, no. Again, in 2004 we won the college districts of all states, even Idaho. We won 90% of the AA vote. So did Dukakis.

That's what was so promising about HRC; she was wildly popular with hispanics (unfortunately Obama isn't liked by them whereas McCain is) , extremely popular with constituents we'd been losing; namely the elderly and blue collar whites.

This isn't good. Isn't good at all. And the GOP hasn't even started on Obama. I fear you are all going to find out real fast why they worked so hard to make sure he was the nominee. Please don't kid yourself they weren't involved.

I'm sorry but Obama as a nominee truly was the worst possible outcome.
