Breaking the Democratic deadlock

If Obama wants to secure the nomination next week, he'll need to recapture the working-class voters who helped him rout Clinton in Wisconsin.

The letters thread is now closed.

LOL Kate

Kate, I have followed your post> You were never going to vote for Obama in the start. You and others that talk about name calling are the very ones that have blasted anyone that supports obama.

Your candidate Hillary (if you really support her I doubt if you do) is such a hypocrite and so are you. It has been you and your candidate that first insulted Obama's supports as non thinking,only voting for Barack because we are caught up in the "concept" (Farraro).

It was a Hillary supporters that first said Barack was not black enough. Andrew Young said "Bill Clinton is blacker then Barack because he dated more black women." I never heard one word about how demeaning that was about black women from HIllary supporters or how nasty that was toward Barack.

Then Bill and his supporters made seem like the only people that were voting for him were Jessie Jackson voters (blacks).

Then Hillary charged Barack with flip-flopping on NAFTA when her own chief of staff was double dealing with the Columbians on a deal she said she was against.

Kate you go ahead and vote for McCain because you are mad at Barack supporters. When your children or grand children are paying for the war,losing their homes,paying outrageous prices for milk,bread butter and come back home to live with you I hope you take a bow, pat your self on the back,congradulate yourself on the wonderful protest vote that destroyed their future.

Everyonme knows that teh Federal Elections Committe regulates campaign donations. Everyone who donates money to a campaign has to give their name, address, ocupation. No individual can give over 2,300 a year. Obama is getting most of his money from online donations from people like me. So this last month I donated everytime I heard the REv. Wright mentioned.

@Hatchet

Have you read your own post (especially the last one). NEVER has Hillary Clinton brought race into this election; in fact, Obama has been and continues to play the race card. In fact, as the owner of BET said himself, this whole thing is because Barack is black.

Those of us who choose not to support a novice who comes to the table with no plan, questionable ties, no voting record, and a racist background are NOT racist, but good judges of character and pragmatic Democrats. Obama had a chance in hell of winning, and now--thanks to his relationship with Rev. Wright and Trinity Church--that chance is over. Hillary is a stronger, better candidate and if you were not so sexist you would admit this. Also, I want to point out that the media does not want her elected, and since I don't trust the media (remember, the backed BUSH both times) this makes me even more sure of my choice.

Finally, remember that Obama has made his own bed. Had he not sat in that pew for 20 years, his ass would not be burning now. I think that it says something like this in the Bible, he who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Well, Obama just cut his own throat and has NO ONE TO BLAME BUT HIMSELF.

The New HOOD

Did you mean to say "Something" or someone. Now you don't even think he is a person? But I don't think you are mad because you are called a racist. I think you don't really mind. The internet is just the new HOOD for the KKKers like you.

Hillary uses The Gender card

HIllary uses the gender card constantly, but Obama does notuse the race card. I wonderif is minster was a ranting white evangelical would thier be such a stir?

YOU ARE SO FREAKIN STUPID

No, I am not a plant, a Republican, or a subversive, but I am going to vote for McCain if Hillary is not the Democratic choice. I do not trust Obama, and as far as I am concerned it will be the Obamatons fault.

Also, to the poster who claims that most Obamatons are kind. ARE YOU FREAKIN BLIND? These people are misogynistic assholes for the most part who are so blind to the issues that when we say something they rip us to shreds before they even comprehend what we are trying to say. I actually think that the very fact that this type of person supports Obama makes me like him even less.

I may be a rabble rouser, but you people are done gone over in the head for this man. Nice wasn't working, so maybe shaking you up a bit might. I am 35 years old, and I have found that nice does not work with sexist or racists.

Do not delude yourself into thinking that we are NOT Democrats. WE ARE, and the real question is what are you?????

Address the issue Hatchet

Calling me a racist is old news, yesterday, yawn yawn. We all know who the racist is--Rev. Wright AND his supporters.

What do the KKK and Rev. Wright have in common--they both hate and excite hatred in their followers along racial lines. They both get money for doing so, and they both use GOD in their speeches.

I only detest stupid and mean people, which means that I am an equal opportunity hater.....not a racist, just anti-dumb and anti-mean.

@Seanders

I agree with everything you said completely. Thank you.

Hate to break your bublbe, but us long time Democrats are voting for Obama too. We want our party back from the centrists, Clintonites. Ever notice all the older folks at Obama rallies.

Obama has a very well orgnzed grass roots operatin tht will be ready on DAY ONE to start te general election campaign work.

Why is it so many former Clinton staff are working for Obama?

Proud Maniac

Everybody knows the prance of your proud racist dance.

@Bob in Pacifica - you're a riot!

It's means, among other things, being open-minded, as opposed to being a close-minded racist crank like you.

Yeah, it's real open-minded AND educated to call a racist everyone who points out your emperor has no clothes and is prospectively the worst gen election nominee since Dukakis.

Couldn't possibly be concerned Dems that actually have had ENOUGH of the GOP/right.

Takes a lot of education to call everyone who disagrees iwth you a racist (and then pout when what we told you would happen happens). What a little Al Sharpton you are. Little Clyburn.

At least you stopped pretending to be a Hillary supporter and admitted you were were supporting McCain.

LOL. Oh, and dogmatically calling everyone who disagrees with your crybaby opinion a "Republican". Very very open minded.

You are pathetic and surely depriving a village someplace of it's rightful idiot.
