he's the best we have got
Obama is the best chance we've got to rejoin the family of nations rather than farther spiraling down toward the dark ages. As for Limbaugh trolls like ProudTexasSlut,, ShawnKKK or KateTexRacist-why don't you go play on the freeway and/or eat each other's dirty sanitary napkins, and leave everybody else alone.

It is interesting that you say left-wingers are shoving Obama down our throats. Actually, I am one of those left-wingers but with a difference. I want to win in November...that is why I am for Hillary. Not because she hasn't made any mistakes or because she is perfect but because she has her finger on the pulse of the people...she's a fighter...a doer...a known commodity. Obama waltzed into Washington, wooed a bunch of gullible people with his oratory, has run a very sneaky, divisive campaign, and has managed to alienate the backbone of our party with elitist remarks. He has no real legislative accomplishments; yet, naive people have been persuaded to believe that he offers a new kind of politics. His associations in the past twenty years are questionable...in fact, they sound as if they hate America, and his wife has a surly personality who doesn't mince words. Anyone who thinks that Americans have not sniffed all this out is deluding himself and I do not believe the voters will install him in the Oval Office.

Hhatchet -- I never called Obama a racist
Hey, I never referred to Obama as racist. I don't care about his pastor, his wife, his relationships with the Weathermen or all that. I don't think that matters. It just obscures the more serious points about who is funding Obama candidacy, how he voted (or didn't vote) and, whose interests he serves and will serve. I take exception to the call-out as a racist, but I forgive.
I also don't care what religion he his, where he grew up, what celebrities are endorsing him or what his favorite color is. I don't even care if he exaggertaes his personality of personal beliefs. It's all fluff.
What I DO care about is the short and disturbing history of pandering, hypocrisy and counterproductive acts by Obama in only one year of Congress. He's been environmentally destructive, he's got to payback defense contractors and oil companies, and Wall Street powerbrokers that are helping bankroll him. He's got a weak and poorly thought-out health care plan. He'll keep us in Iraq just like McCain.
Look, there is no such thing as a free luch and Obama owes these slimebags once he gets to the White House. It's not the company he keeps in his personal life that I'm afaraid of, it's the company he keeps who are backing him and influencing his agenda. The fact that his spiel is that he is so honorable, etc. is more than a little off-putting. Doesn't he know that his congressional voting history and campaign finances are a matter of record? How stupid does he think we are? And you think Clinton insults our intelligence? Jeez.
If you follow the money, an Obama presidency will scare the bejeesus out of you. I don't need a commercial with bin Laden to be shitting my pants over an Obama presidency. Amd who is to say he'll even be bothered by the gritty details once he' president? I'd be a little pissed if I supported him for his US senate campaign only to have him run off a year later for a bigger prize. No way he accomplished everything he promised to the people of Illinois. Smells like irresponsible opportunism to me.
And I do care about a C.V. and experience. I don't think Obama has enough practical experience. Can we really put a person in charge of the free world with one half-assed year of junior senatorship? This lack of vetting wouldn't fly in the smallest of companies, yet the most powerful nation in the history of the world is going to be run by someone who less than two years ago was sitting in state senate hearings about parking tickets? Is this really hapenning?
C'mon, whatever happened to liberals' hallmark of healthy skepticism of politicians? How did we fall hook, line and sinker for someone who we knew so little about? Wishful naivete is for the blind Bush supporters. We're supposed to be a little more vigilant in selecting our representatives. Suckers born every minute, I reckon.

@pantanal
You're not exactly a great advertisement for your candidate, nor are the many thousands of other Obama supporters who have felt perfectly free to lob the most vile insults at Clinton and her supporters over the past few months. And some of you wonder why so many Hillary fans have become more than a little averse to ever voting for Obama? What sort of signals has Obama been giving off that green light the kind of slimy attacks so many of his supporters specialize in? Who would want to belong to any club that would have you?

Spot-on Analysis
Just and old fashioned "good job" letter. No dig at a candidate. Rural and middle-class Wisconsinites are different than their Indiana counterparts. More like Vermonters with beer guts. Outside of Northwest Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana is more like Kentucky. Which is why my guy Obama is looking at some trouble in Hoosierland, post-Reverend Wright.

@cythera
I don't drink lattes. I drink coffee, though.
Am I a liberal. At least. Cythera, I am honored to be called a liberal. It's means, among other things, being open-minded, as opposed to being a close-minded racist crank like you. At least you stopped pretending to be a Hillary supporter and admitted you were were supporting McCain.

Surely you jest. Even Hillary made the point that her and Baracks voting record are very similar. So many of the same bills that he supported so did she.
If you did your research he like many politicians vote down bills because they have other nonsense attached to them. You girl Hillary give the green light to Bush and his cronies to go to war against Iran. By putting their Guard on the terrorist list Hillary did not learn her lesson. All the candidates except Hillary voted with Libermann.
Now lets not even get into sleazy partners. Hillary and Bill pardoned drug pushers. They also pardoned two Weatherman. Hillary has just has many shady deals with people questionable people as Barack. Also, Hillary you know if Hillary did not have the Name recognition of Clinton she would not have been elected in NY. The same arguement you are making against Barack is the same arguement RUSH made when she ran for office in NY. He called her a carpetbagger who had no experience.
This is what I base my vote on. In 93-94 Hillary had the full weight of the American people,the President,house and Senate on her side and she could not get it done. Yes the Republicans fought her tooth and nail but the reason she could not get Universal Health care passed was because not enough DEMOCRATS voted with her.
Dummanny, the defections of many of her husbands supporters have to tell us something. There has to be a reason Al Gore did not run on the Clinton/Gore record. Now the superdelgate in Indiana a former Clinton supporter is saying he dislikes her politics. I would rather go by a person how knows her then for someone like you or I just reading bias reports of a candidate. This man knows the Clintons and for some reason he, Richardson, Reich and others are not supporting her. I believe she is the more crooked politician.
