Breaking the Democratic deadlock

If Obama wants to secure the nomination next week, he'll need to recapture the working-class voters who helped him rout Clinton in Wisconsin.

The letters thread is now closed.

@ Villemar

Chill out. Things are tough economically for other people, not just you. No need to go postal. My eyes are still hurting from your last anti-Clinton screed.

I've heard people here comare Hillary Clinton to Karl Rove, George Bush, John McCain, Dick Cheney, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, etc. She's been called both a Nazi and a Neo-Con, a racist, and a Fox News operative. Even a Republican.

Be serious, you all don't believe that?

Thanks but, elsylee

It doesn't matter how many times Obama's 'inconsistencies' (sometimes known as lies or obfuscations) are pointed out to his supporters. The latter long ago closed their eyes and dug in their heels, preferring instead to take aim at Hillary Clinton (and her supporters - primarily undereducated racists). In case you haven't noticed, with the fade-out of hope and change, the new narrative centers around a death grip on 'the numbers'. These numbers may exclude anyone hailing from Michigan or Florida, but hey, what tale doesn't have its minor imperfections?

Look At Obama's Past

As usual you Obama supporter's have to call people names who don't agree with you.I'm one of those supposed White Middle Class and I can assure you I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT VOTING FOR MORON BUSH so you see you still don't know what you are talking about. Obama is friend's with criminal's one who is on trial in Chicago now. His political career started in the Home of Weatherman Ayers in 1995. His pastor of 20 years is a racist white hater who Obama is now trying to get away from. When Obama was a state Rep. in Illinois he voted PRESENT 130 times which means he stood for nothing and he still doesn't.Michelle, Obama's big mouth wife who doesn't like this country and is a racist with a chip on her shoulder should be enough to stop any thinking person from voting for the empty suit/Michelle and Barack in the White House would be a disgrace and a disaster.Surely America won't stoop that low.

Michelle "Vulgar" "Proud to be American for the 1st time in her life" and Walmart

Michelle Vulgar made millions as a middle-vulgarian to Walmart through a government arranged (via her hubby) contract. the obamateur also got her a 200,000 dollar raise.

Too bad the folks in South Chicago didn't do so well. They just got their heat turned off by Resko, the Obamateur's good friend who helped the Obamateur and Mrs. Vulgar get a fancy house.

I am definitely a glutton for punishment

ShawnWM writes: "It's not "Democrats". It's nutty leftwingers. Big Difference. Democrats are working families, firefighters, truckdrivers and nurses, union members, professional Jews who understand the nature of the threat of Islamic fundamentalism, struggling hispanic families and single moms with kids to feed. Elderly people living on fixed incomes. The LEFT are affluent white men, militiant blacks with chips on their shoulders and some dowdy post-feminist women who they date.self-destruct over."

You know black working-class people vote Democrat as much as and, in some cases, more than the groups you just highlighted. I don't know (not that they don't exist) one black person who voted for Nader in 2000. You're just mad they aren't voting for your girl Hill. My black single mom who is a nurse used to be for your girl. Of course, when I asked her why she said "Cause she's a female." She didn't even like Obama. Then she changed her mind after watching non-racist Clinton use racist tactics against a black man.

Unfortunately, Thanks elysee!

Wow, even though I'm a Clinton supporter, I actually liked Obama and up until now, with the exceptions of the stupidity of his supporters, always thought he could actually be elected.

Upon looking at savagepolitics site (which I've read some things there before), I'm now absolutely convinced the man is a liar. Period.

That LIST WITH REFERENCES goes on and on and on. Clinton may have exaggerated her Bosnia thing but she didn't lie about being there. Absolutely NOTHING compared to the lies that Obama has told. I'm shocked, actually.

If Obama wins the nomination, the general election is toast. We're fucked. That man is unelectable.

The disservice of the MSM in protecting Obama and following through with real answers is inexcusable.

I see the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

Heh. I stop by here out of curiosity and, yep, it's the same sad bunch of Clinton deadenders, spewing for the same old bile. What are you people going to do, when Clinton is forced to close up shop? Heck, what are y'all going to do in January, when Obama is inaugurated. Start stocking canned goods, I suppose.

C'mon, now, has it really come to linking to Michael Savage? Oh well, I guess the trendline has been in evidence since January.

ShawnWM, nobody cares if you decide to up and leave the Democrats, or that you're bringing your checkbook. You may not have noticed this, but Obama doesn't have any trouble raising money via small donations without you.

Cythera, you've already outed yourself as a self-proclaimed Republican, so pretty much anything you have to say is null and void. Then again, it already was, since most of your comments are ad hominem inanities.

KateTex, you've been sticking to the same sad set of talking points, in full defiance of reality, for months now. Hey, it's your world -- color it as you wish. But don't expect the rest of us to buy into your alternate reality.

I must say, the way Salon's been going over the course of this election, I'm not surprised the forums are mostly reduced to the hard-core Clinton trolls. See, Joan Walsh, what you've wrought?

Wrong

You're just mad they aren't voting for your girl Hill.

Actually I'm mad that they're going to hand the Republicans a complete majority from the gubernational (that's governorships for the obama supporters) to the Congress AND The Presidency and 3 supreme court justices.

I like Hillary fine, but I would have been okay with ANY candidate that could have beat the GOP: so far though the only ones to do that twice since FDR has been named Clinton.

Undoubtably why Rove and the presscorp fronted Obama and have worked so hard to weaken HRC.

Whatever I would or wouldn't like aside, America ain't going to vote for a guy with no experience, who runs with near the exclusive support of super-liberals (whether he is one himself or not aside) and who also happens to have attended a black liberation church, is associated with domestic terrorists like Ayers, crooked Syrian and Iranian businessman and has a pretty non-existant record of accomplishing anything of note.

Game over.
