If they arrive at the convention still divided over their star, they risk being upstaged by John McCain.

  • A Continuing Fight is NOT the Worst Thing in the World

It keeps people involved, it keeps people talking and it keeps people thinking about which DEMOCRAT is better for them.

We have got to get over this "THE SKY IS FALLING" mentality that seems so prevalent in our party.

We, individually and as a party have POWER, and if we fear to wield it, we deserve whatever crumbs we get.

I believe that our party can make a change in this country for the better, even if we do so in an uneven manner--that's life, that's humanity.

But we have to believe it as a party--that decision making is a GOOD thing, that working through the differences of our beliefs makes us stronger than the PARTY LINE OR ELSE mentality of the Republicans.

    Let's go. Let's just go.

  • hillary is ahead....

This just in... If you count her delegate wins in Florida and Michigan Hillary is ahead by 5 delegates so there is the fact that unless the F&M votes don't count when the convention comes the loss of potential Republican leaning states to stay that way and then we have McCain as president. This horse race needs to be by the numbers especially given how close the last election was Every vote is desperately needed to count all through the process not just in November. Dream Ticket OBAMA CLINTON and lets win by announcing Al Gore for EPA. Lets take back this country!!

  • Denver as a terminus

I will support Senator Clinton right up to the last fire fight.

    I will try and send her money whenever I can, most certainly, some of my tax rebate. I am not remotely close to meeting the maximum, but she has begun to pick up steam, and, pick up her voice as a champion of people that is the antithesis of the Obamistas. The average American Democrat. Eats at local diners; coffee there, not Starbucks; hiking gear doesn't come from REI, or if it does, it's not the fashionably lightweight, hi-tech stuff; has had union members, or small town families in their background; are all colors and races, ethnicities, religions; probably not so many atheists or agnostics, although if so, then the latter, not so much the former;

are not totally environmentally hip, but by associating with her, will become more so. They might easily "get" the notion of buying flourescent mercury vapor lights. Couldn't afford LEDs right now. I imagine, when Senator Clinton begins suggesting to her followers, at every speech she gives, that each person go out, and buy a two pack of these light bulbs. By so doing, they will have a direct and immediate effect on the amount of coal or other energy products are needed to create electricity. A savings in fuel could result in reduced gas prices.

Senator Clinton will also begin holding more and more rallies at colleges and universities. By so doing, she will increase her momentum among younger men and women who have had some lingering, perhaps secret, interest in what she's about. Is she a monster? Does she drool with foam when she speaks about the large corporations which Obama wants to stonk?

Is she lurid, sordid, humorless? Does she seem to evoke passion? How do first time Clinton lookers react to the powerful energy of HER female and male supporters if they are curious about the feminist aspects of her support base?

How many college and educated begin to move her way, as well as more and more veterans, and more and more African-Americans ... will chip into Obama's core of young and educated. By the way: Veterans of all wars will be more comfortable with her v. Obama. And if undecideds choose to see one of her rallies before Obama's, she may just keep them. And the higher the number of undecideds, the largest chance she will have of getting their votes in upcoming primaries.

Her stand on the war, which has cost her among the Ultra Liberal Elitists, may not hurt her at all among these people. Many people were where she was at the start of the war. It is what she has done SINCE that first vote which will matter. Many want out now. Not many wanted out until the last 18 months. As such, they don't have to sort out themselves whether she represents a defeatist or not.

She has a better chance every day she stays in.

Because when she rolls into Denver, no matter what the outcome, she won't have been shying away from a fight. The fight in Denver will begin how to seat Florida and Michigan, with the results, as they were. She won both, and she had good margins there. And when people look at which states she has won, and to what degree, they are going to see that she can take November. Obama won't.

Obama has peaked. He also does not do well with mistakes and with losing. He is probably a very deep introvert, and his inner mind never fully retreats from a loss, or a mistake he has made. As such, he is slightly distracted. And, that doesn't bode well for a long campaign. Finally, his opportunities to speak in large assemblies will be much more limited. She, on the other hand, has ALWAYS been at her peak speaking to smaller venues. Thus, she can criss-cross the country, and visit many smaller stops, and connect with people more personally than he can.

That, too, will provide her with more edge than him.

Women, finally, getting more excited, if they cross over, and vote for her, they will become fiercely loyal, and will protect her if the male dominated misogynistic press (MSNBC in particular), attack her. The Chris Matthews-Dana Millbank-David Shuster-Keith Olberman-Howard Fineman-Rachel Maddow-Dan Abrams spread point analyst jock and jocular gang are all Ultra Liberal Elitists. They have been against her from Day One. So, I hope others will see that, and blister their asses with emails if they continue to refuse to speak well of her abilities.

In brief, she can kick Obama's butt all over the boardwalk. A fierce, tenacious woman who is an intelligent, sharp, insightful, competent, experienced legislator ... she is the best choice. One momentum is clearly ascribed to her ... it will only grow.

Someone needs to put a big SOCK in Bill Clinton's mouth, though. He needs to read from his script, keep his opinions to himself, and not defend her. She needs to defend herself.
