Clinton notches another do-or-die big-state win in Pennsylvania. Which is more troubling for Democrats -- her scorched-earth tactics or Obama's failure to build on his base?

  • I love the twisty sophistry the Obama supporters have to come up with

to try and deal with the simple fact that a well-funded front-runner with every seeming advantage, including supposedly the fact that he has essentially sewn up the nomination, keeps losing crucial primaries by wide margins. His mutli-million ad buys, his whistle-stop tours, his packed-to-the-rafter rallies all look bright and showy and powerful, and then there comes that little unfortunate detail: Democratic voters actually vote against him.

Every one of these losses is a body blow, and the Obama campaign knows it. Keep spinning, folks, while Obama spins his wheels.

  • More Good News from Today's Rasmussen Poll

    Pres '08

    McCain (R) 47%, Obama (D) 44%

    Pres '08

    McCain (R) 47%, Clinton (D) 44%

Keep bloodying each other up, Dem nitwits. Then send your beaten champion out to be crucified by McCain.

  • Funny Stuff

When i was a little girl growing up outside washington DC there were a group of us gals who used to play kickball in the street. Monica was clearly the leader to our *pack* but we all got along fine.

Except when it was kickball time.

She would get tagged out and then say the we were confused about what blade of grass or tree trunk the *base* (first base second base etc) was supposed to be. I'm NOT making this up. When she got close to tagging any one of us out, there were 101 ways it could be done - none of which we knew about BEFORE the game started. Or even 10 seconds before she had the ball.

It was so frustrating i often led to fights/arguments. Then she would take her ball and say (I swear I am not making this up)

"That's OK i have two big brothers and a german shepherd" and walk away home.

  • MaddieP, are you okay? having some sort of flashback, are you?

“He broke every spending record in this state trying to knock us out of this race,” she said. “Well, the people of Pennsylvania had other ideas.”

  • Now the Obama pandering goes into high gear

Don't know if anyone's seen this new mailer from Obama? How coud he (I'm sure somehow Clinton will be blamed for this)?

As my fiend said: Haven't we had enough with religious nut jobs and panderers? What's with his flirtations with Reaganites and screw his Christianity already! Barak, we don't care about you ignorantly praying to a mythical sky-god...but doing it for votes just reeks! You're losing people. I'll vote for Obama in a second in the GE if it's him, but I am keeping my distance...and this is the reason...the final straw. Screw your religiousity Barak.

    We. Don't. Care!

Go ahead everybody, blame Hillary Clinton. You know you want to.

  • forgive 45

She is an admitted rush limbaugh dittohead sabotuer. Don't let her ruin what you are doing. She is a troll. A scared pathetic troll. Who knows her parites only cahnce is to sabotage the nominatiion process of the opposition party. Forgive the traitor gop. They don't know the fascism and criminality they are apart of.

  • Old White Women

Take a good look at the exit polls. The deciding factor for Hillary in every contest that she does well in is old white women.

Obama could walk on water and cure cancer and these women would still vote for Hillary. Why? It is because many of them see Hillary as their last chance to see a woman president before they die. I have seen several news articles in which Obama supporting younger women said as much about their mothers.

Hillary Clinton's ego is destroying the Democratic Party. She knows she can't win and wants to make sure that Obama can't either. Salon has been shameful in its reporting of this primary. Hillary's campaign has been far worse than anything that Joe Leiberman or Zell Miller did, yet Hillary gets a free pass.

But the problem is not just Hillary. There is something fundamentally unpatriotic about these old women voting for a candidate that can't win simply because she has ovaries. A victory for Obama will do more to open up doors for minorites and women than Clinton riding her husband's name and friends to the White House. She would be a fluke, not a groundbreaker.

It is time for all responsible democrats to demand that Hillary step aside. It is time for Salon to stop their sycophantic coverage of Hillary. Read today's NYT editorial, Joan. The paper that failed America so badly for the last 8 years is proving to be a better source than Salon has become.

Hillary Clinton and Joan Walsh need to go.

  • more funny stuff

If Obama were to only win NC by like two points after being heavily so favored in the state, the media (and EVERY SINGLE HILLARY SUPPORTER ON THIS BOARD) the next day would be saying he's dead.

Amazing that Clinton loses 10% or more of her support in PA and somehow it comes out totally different.

    Hey good day cynthera45

I like these boards. But why bother with you. You;re voting Republican in November anyway. And that's fine with me. I've done it myself more than a few times. I love being an independent. But in the case you cannot change my mind and i won't try to change yours. ok?

    Have a great day

"it's best to give the nomination to Hillary this year, so that she can run, and lose, and the Clinton's quarter-century reign over the Democratic Party can end now, and the Clintons can get the f*** out of our faces forever."

Except if she runs and loses we get John W. McBush in the White House. No thanks.

  • Teaxs BULL

So is Walther campaign for Hillary too. This is a line right out of her campaign. Please stop with the bull about the primary. TX every pundit keeps saying she won BIg in OH and TX .

In TX she one the the primary by 1pt. and Obama won the TX cacaus. He wipped out any gains in delegates she got in OH with his delegate gains in TX.

He is ahead in pledged delegates and popular vote. YOu have to consider all the states. Besides she has only had a BIg win in BIg state in NJ.

  • Question for HRC supporters....what is the next HRC Firewall State?

    Guam? Kentucky?

I know NC isn't a "real" state, too many nigs. Neither will Oregon - caucusgoers are brownshirt thugs that hate America.

What's the next state to cherry pick under the Insult 40 States strategy?
