Clinton notches another do-or-die big-state win in Pennsylvania. Which is more troubling for Democrats -- her scorched-earth tactics or Obama's failure to build on his base?
  • The Low Road to Victory - attn. Hillary

Today the NY Times, a newspaper that endorsed Hillary Clinton, spoke out concerning the negativity of her campaign.

"...they went heavily negative and ended up squandering a good part of what once was a 20-point lead. It is past time for Senator Hillary Clinton to acknowledge that the negativity, for which she is mostly responsible, does nothing but harm to her, her opponent, her party and the 2008 election."

...to bolster Mrs. Clinton's argument that she is the better prepared to be president in a dangerous world, she sent the opposite message on Tuesday morning (April 22) by declaring in an interview with ABC News that if Iran attacked Israel while she were president: ' We would be able to totally obliterate them.' "

In Western thought there is great respect for Reason and Justice. Threats in the public domain by candidates are rare for good reason. We would hope that an Iranian army could be stopped without the "obliterate them" boast. Recall that Hillary Clinton's only time under fire was the Sniper Incident in Bosnia.

We all recall that boast as well.
