I think Joan has been pretty even-handed and level-headed throughout this campaign. This article was written by Walter Shapiro. And yet many times, Joan Walsh has been demonized for her editorial contributions and position on Salon.com by LWs of this article.
To me, its pretty clear that Joan or Hillary aren't the issues. It's some serious transference-of-anger issues. I don't know if its authoritative, or contrarian, or condescending, or misogynistic, or racial or whatever issue. Its an issue and its just...plain...ridiculous. Somehow, Hillary and Joan, whatever the matter, whatever the conflation, it is triggered by these ideological supporters.
Good luck with that. And if Obama is not the nominee, may [some] god help you.
